ngl it's kind of ... I wouldn't say it's IRRITATING, but there's a certain flavour of "ugh that's annoying", because of how so many people are making 30-60+ minute video essays and then just not saying anything.
^ the above was just recommended to me. and it just. it looks like it could be interesting, but the first minute or two makes it sound like it's gonna be a massive nothing burger.
same with this guy. he's ridiculously attractive, but this entire god damn video was just about the ever-worsening creepiness of a fictional character, but it felt so forced.
it's really hard to find people that do a delicate balance of entertaining-whatever the above two videos are, and also being actually educational and informative. And in case it wasn't obvious: you can enjoy your fixations, that's fine, go for it - these minor inconsequential criticisms are not about that.
