Tails: Coming- (Starts Yawning While Walking Down the Stairs) I'm here.
Amy: (Smiles Softly at her Baby Fox) Ahh look at you waking up from a proper sleep for once~ Not a single bag under neither eye, in sight.
Tails: ('Sigh') Amy, you know I have plenty of sleep on my time own.
Amy: Mhmm. (Raises an Eyebrow) And are any of them half as proper as the one you had now?

The loud, roaring sound of the storm outdoors was more than enough to not only make the two tailed fox rush himself over to hug Coco, screaming his lungs out in the process, but also powerful enough to make the workshop and all of the other rooms in his house to go complete dark.

Coco: So you've been terrified of thunderstorm throughout your whole life now, huh?
Tails: Unfortunately.....
Coco: When did it all started? I-If you don't mind me asking.
Tails: (Takes a Deep Breath Before Explaining) It all started back in Knothole when I was five or six. I was waiting for Sonic and our old team, the Freedom Fighters, to come back from their mission for so long that I decided head off to the forest alone to look for them. I wandered around without any care or worry in the world until I saw the clouds in the skies turn pitch black and the sound of the storm itself started to get louder and louder every step i take. It became too much to bear after a while, so I started running back to the hideout as fast as i could with my ears completely covered. But then, a lightning struck down before my very eyes.
Coco: (Eyes Widened in Complete Shock amd Horror) My god......Did it hit you!?
Tails: ('Sighs in Pure Relief') No, thankfully. I stopped dead on my tracks once I saw it near. But it did made me scared enough to shake and fall down to my knees. I ended up bawling my eyes out until the others were able to find me shortly after, thus started my crippling fear of thunderstorms for years to come. (Looks Down on the Tidel Floors Below Him and Coco in a Somber Like Fashion) So much for finally getting past that stage in my life thrse days, huh?
Coco: It does take a pretty long time for anyone to conquer their fears completely.
Tails: That's true. (Pouts a Bit) It sucks though......
Coco: (Snuggles onto Tails' Embrace) I know, buddy, it's the worse!~ I have a crippling fear of my own believe it or not.
Tails: (Turns Back to Coco with a Genuine Surprise Look) Really? What were you scared of?
Coco: Clowns. (Shivers in Discomfort) It's been the bane of my existence since the day Crash and I went to the circus growing up. The memory of most of the show itself is vague, but I do remember two clowns jumpscaring me so bad that I ended up hightailing myself outta the show without looking back. (Rolls her Eyes in Annoyance) If that wasn't bad enough, Cortex kidnapped me that one time and forced me to watch a scary clown movie for three straight hours until Crash arrived time some time later to kick his butt and save me! Thanks to him, my fear of them practically reignited immensely since then.
Tails: (Almost at a Loss For Words) Wow. II'm sorry you had to go through that, Coco......
Coco: (Gives Tails a Reassuring Smile on her Face) Nah, it's fine. (Playfully Whispers into Tails' Ear) I've managed to get him back by prank calling his old acedemy teacher to come over his lair and torment him with her teachings for six whole months~

Funky: ('Sigh') Yeah, adventures and I never clicked together those days. They're filled with a lot of danger and risks you can fall right into if you're not careful and I wanted no part of it for as long as I could even remember. That is until the day the Snowmads sailed into the island and took over. DK and the crew weren't seen and heard from shortly after that, so i had to set out, look for them, and the fight the baddies off myself. (Looks Up at the Sunset) It was a little nerve-wracking at first- (Smiles a Little) But I slowly started to warm up to it the more time passes by. And once the day and jungle was saved afterwards, I felt good, more alive than I've been in my entire life, and I wanted to have another go at it one of these days if I ever get the chance.
Wave: (Smiles Softly) You should. Despite the dangerous hazzards the locations may have long ahead, It could still be a pretty fun and exhilarating experience if you know what you're doing. Ooh but speaking of which, would it be fine with you two if we set up a play date for the kids in the near future? The last thing I want is for my girl be coped up in a laboratory all day.....
Vanilla: (Turns to Vector For a Brief Second Before Turning Back to the Doctor with a Simple, Happy Nod) It would be an honor, Doctor. We could start the play date on the first week of the new year if you like. There's just one, teensy favor I need from you first.
Eggman: (Smiles Brightly) Spendid! A-And sure! What sort of favor you two need at the moment.
Vanilla: (Places her Hand onto Eggman's Shoulder) Oh it's nothing too grand~ Just wanted to let you know that- (Suddenly Gives Eggman a Dark, Menacing Glare as She Starts Squeezes his Shoulder Tightly With her Nails) If you ever try to kidnap me and/or bring harm to my family again, I'll find and I will beat and burn you and your entire legacy down to the ground in body bags, got it?
Vector: (Crosses his Arms at a Very Terrified Doctor) Better take her words to heart, doc. Saw her got provoked once. (Shakes his Head a Bot Slowly) Not a pretty good sight.
Eggman: (Starts Sweating Bullets as He Begins to Let Out a Gulp) Y-Yes. Dully noted, 100%!
Vanilla: (Immediately Went Back to Smiling at the Doctor) Wonderful!~ (Lets Go of Eggman's Shoulder Before Sweeping the Dust Off of Him With her Hand) I'm so glad we came to an agreement.
Eggman: Yes. (Chuckles Awkwardly and Nervously) Me too. And don't worry about Sage. She's a very kind young lady for the most part, so I'm sure the your offsprings will take a liking to her instantly. (Turns Back to the Brawling Crowd) As for the crowd in front of us.....
Eggman pulls out a highly tech mini blaster from his buggy and freeze the crowd in each of their place. Leaving the bicycle itself unharmed.
Vanilla: (Gasps at What She Just Witnessed)
Eggman: (Whirls the Blaster Up and Back Down to the Buggy With a Satisfied Smile on his Face) There. Problem solved.
Vanilla: (Immediately Turns Back to Eggman With a Glare on her Face) Doctor Robotnik Eggman! You didn't have to freeze them solid like that!!
Eggman: On the contrary, Mrs. Crocodile, I did. They were getting too crowded and noisy for my liking.
Vector: Yeah and besides....(Picks the Bicycle Up and Carries It With Him) At least we don't have to worry about fighting tooth and nail to get our baby carrot's gift.
Vanilla: ('Sighs in Defeat') That's true. And this is the final gift on the list, so....(Reluctantly Shrugs) Mission accomplished I suppose....(Turns to the Frozen Crowd) They won't be frozen forever, will they?
Eggman: (Flail his Arm Down) Oh relax, will you? (Starts Walking Away With the Married Couple Following Pursuit) They won't stay like that forever. Give it a few minutes or so and they'll be unthaw in no time. Probably. I haven't used this blaster for the longest time now, so i don't have slightest clue how long the freezing process will take.
Vector: Ah geez...
Moments Later at the Market's Parking Lot.......
Vector: (Let's Out a Sigh as He Gets Into the Family Van Along with Vanilla) Finally. We're done shopping for the year.
Vanilla: And we didn't have to spend anything too expensive this time around. Thank goodness for that.....
Vector: Tell me about it. (Places his Hand on his Forehead) I still can't get over the fact that Eggman of all people, is being a parent. And a fairly decent one at that......
Vanilla: (Smiles Sheepishly) I'd be lying if I say that didn't took me out of the loop for a second there. But I'm sure there isn't for us to worry about so long as he treats her well.
Vector: ('Sigh') Yeah, you're right about that. I still got my eye on him though.
Vanilla: (Giggles a Little) Of course you do, dear. ('Sigh') But alas, Christmas morning is upon us. And I suppose that means you're going to play the role as Santa again, aren't you?
Vector: Yeah, but.....(Turns to Vanilla With a Smirk on his Face) Not without help.

The rest of the kids soundly agrees as they join in on the hug fest, making the woman in red heart melt and tear up at how precious each of them are.
Mrs. Claus: Oh my sweet little angels.....(Happily Pulls The Gang into a Big Hug) I'm so happy to see you all too!!~

Sonic: Uh...huh. (Frowns a Bit Worryingly) But seriously though, what's wrong?
Amy: (Takes a Deep Breath Before Speaking) I had a dream last night. And a pretty bad one at that.....
Sonic: How bad are we talking?
Amy: Well, for starters, I got kidnapped, surprise-surpise. But.....it wasn't by Eggman this time around.
Sonic: (Eyes Widens a Bit) Really.
Amy: Yeah. Instead it was this....weird looking robot thing with the red marks all around it's body....and I think I also saw a girl piloting it? In a sort of....ancient magic sense or something? ('Sigh') I dunno.....But anyways, I was turned into a ghost....somehow and that's where you stepped and tried to save me. (Lowers Her Ears) But.....
Sonic: But?
Amy: You also got those red marks all over you, causing you to get more weaker the more you move around and fight. Which naturally, causes that robot and the girl to be too much for you to handle. Nearly killed you even. And all I could do there is cry and plead for you to get back up as they start taking you away. I kept yelling and yelling and yelling out your name as loud as I can till eventually....I woke up.
Sonic: Wow. That sound like one bizarre dream....
Amy: Yeah, no kidding. I shrugged it off at first, but...the more I think about it....(Looking Down at the Sandy Ground, Twirling her Finger on it While Frowning) The more I started to realize just how much of a nuisance I've really been to you over the years.....
Sonic: (Eyes Widened in Genuine Shock) What? Amy, come on. You shouldn't be hard on yourself.
Amy: (Turns Back to her Boyfriend) But it's true, Sonic. All the times I've been kidnapped...(Grabs her Chin) Which hasn't really been a lot in all hindsight. At least not compared to your mom, no offense.

Amy: You would always go out of your way to save me and what do I do to show gratitude? Being clingy, loud, annoying, even ungrateful and rude to some cases! It makes me wonder....(Crosses her Arms and Close her Legs Together as She Watches the Sunset Somberly) why would you even bother to date someone like me to begin with, you know?
Sonic starea at Amy for a few seconds before taking a deep breath.
Sonic: (Places his Hand Around Amy's Shoulder as He Gently Pulls her Next to Him) Okay, look, I know the hero gig could get tiring and frustrating for me sometimes....(Rolls his Eyes) Especially when Eggman's involved. But despite all the crap he pulled and everyone and everything else that tried getting in my way overtime...(Smiles Reassuringly) I always find some way to save you guys and the day the end eventually. Amy: (Look Back Up to Sonic) Well...yeah, but-
Sonic: (Immediately Places his Finger on his Girlfriend's Lips) Upupup! The fact of the matter here is: whenever you're in trouble, I'll always be there to save ya. It doesn't matter to me if you get loud and obnoxious as long as you're safe in my arms. And second, yeah. I did find you annoying and scary in the past...Well...I mean, I still think you're scary. (Boops on Amy's Nose With his Other Hand) But in a cute kind of way.
Amy: (Giggles Ticklishly a Bit by the Nose Boop)
Sonic: But the day we on our date for the first time, made me realize that you're a hell of a lot more than I ever gave you credit for. You're kind, strong, loving, and the most prettiest girl I've ever had the pleasure of falling for since then.

Amy opens the locket up to see a picture of herself on one side, smiling directly at a picture of Somic on the other side.
Amy: ('Gasps') It's us....
Sonic; (Happily Nodded) That's right. Whenever you feel sad, alone, or scared, you could always look at the pictures inside and imagine me being by your side. (Smirks Playfully) Or imagine how handsomely stunning I am~ Either way, I hope it makes your birthday this year all the more special!
Amy looks down at her present woth sparkly eyes before looking back up at Sonic.

Once we read him a bedtime story and tuck him in, he suddenly starts calling both of us "aunties" a couple of minutes later in his sleep and the rest of was history.
