Nutritious food is not “diet food.” - I think there is confusion about what is a diet and what is just simply eating. - Saying no to food for any particular reason outside of not being hungry does not mean you are on a diet. - Having boundaries at one point or another with dining out, or eating x, y, z, does not mean you are on a diet. - Sometimes balance means saying no. - Sometimes balance means saying yes. - This can all depend on your goals and where you are at. - I feel like the word restrictive gets thrown around a lot. - Yes there are true restrictive diets out there: keto, paleo, cabbage soup diet, grapefruit diet, etc etc the list goes on. But do not confuse restriction with restraint. - Diet = restriction. “ I can’t eat that.” - Eating = restraint. “I’ll have that at a later time.” - There is so much information out there, and an abundant of food options we have forgotten what it’s like to just call it eating. - #food #eating #diet #health #fitness #fit #workout #exercise #coach #nutrition #fitness #dietculture #bodybuilding #weightloss #fatloss #teamcoachcody #ftm #ftmfitness #onlinecoach https://www.instagram.com/p/CXeOGMAvLxo/?utm_medium=tumblr
