i cannot wait for jace and clary to get married. it will of course be wonderful because it’s them but i adore the details of it all. alec escorting jace and simon doing the same for clary. luke and clary doing the typical father daughter dance. jace asking kit to be apart of the wedding. mayrse doting over jace. jem officiating the ceremony. max and rafe most likely being flower boys. julian painting the newlyweds as his gift to them. clary having izzy and emma be her bridesmaids even though it’s a mundane tradition. alec getting teary eyed and vehemently denying it. magnus feeling older then usual since clary was the first child he watched grow up. jace writing a song on piano and having jem play it for their first dance. just all the feels oh my.

i wish there was more discussion or head cannons or something about the time in between “the lost book of the white” and “lady midnight” because think about it: clary and jace take over as the head of the new york institute, rafe is adopted, simon and izzy move in together, emma and julian haven’t realized they’re in love with each other and are taking care of the younger ones, and tessa and jem are (hopefully) getting to know jace. like that’s absolutely lovely. i hope (although i doubt we’ll get this) that cassie writes something about the tmi gang meeting rafael. it would be absolutely adorable because he’s this adorable little boy who has been through something horrible and is now with parents who love him unconditionally. so of course everyone would learn spanish to talk to him in his mother tongue and jace having his life would bond with him and izzy would continue to spoil her nephews. i just want happy team good moments.
