Here’s a masterpost of all the teams in Black Star as well as their roles in the story
The Intelligence Support Activity, an obscure unit that does black-ops so dark, technically they don't exist
Control and her Operatives: Shiffman (Research), Stroble (Command), Devon Grice (Crimson Six Alpha), Brooks (Crimson Six Bravo), and Viridian Nine (aka Sarah Shahi's stunt double Nitasha Bhambree).
Team Catalyst
Team Catalyst
The world, as we know it, is kind of going to hell. Summers are growing longer and hotter, winters are shorter, droughts are spreading across the globe. And yet, people don't really seem to care. However, under the band of Team Catalyst, are people who are willing to change the ignorant behavior of humanity, at any price. If they have to vandalize yachts, factories, and cars, they will. What is different about Team Catalyst, however, is that they know that humanity is only half the problem. They other part?
Pokemon.
Did you know, that some pokemon can burn down forests with the greatest of ease? Or devour mountains in a matter of days? Destroy villages, poison the air, and ruin ecosystems with the flick of a wrist? These pokemon are the other problem, and Team Catalyst is willing and able to remove them from the world. In what seems like a giant mob of green and white, they storm through fields, forests, and the elements, capturing and defeating any troublesome pokemon that would get in the way of their cause. The captured pokemon would then be stored in their base, in sealed boxes, never to be used again. All for the greater good of the world.
For most of Team Catalyst, this seems to be enough, but the elite few, and especially their leader, who has remained unnamed for years, have a grander plan. The Earth is suffering, and thanks to pokemon and the human race, scars have been left on the poor planet's face. The most noticeable, without a doubt, is the polar ice caps. If the Earth is to return to a normal climate, the ice caps have to be rebuilt. How would they do this? By using their faithful pokemon to rebuild them, of course! But if that was to fail... they have a back up plan. They have been building a machine that, if their scientists are correct, would cover the world in a sheet of clouds, blocking the sun's rays, and cooling the Earth. Even if it was to put the world into a new ice age, the Earth would break from this catalyst anew, healthier and cleaner than ever before.
Team Catalyst's staple pokemon are grass, ice, and water types, seen as the purest of pokemon available. The Shellder, Lotad, Shpeal, Snover, and Cubchoo families would be the most popular in the rankings, but any pokemon that fit close enough to the strict typing would be accepted. I am currently trying to think of an outfit and logo for the team, and will probably post the results of that on a later date.
