A set of three mug rugs made using the same materials as the Tea With Friends wallhangings. These measure at 5.5 x 8.5 inches, large enough for a mug or teacup and a snack. I used insulated batting to help protect the surface from the heat of your drink. These are an excellent addition to having a little tea party with some friends. A platter of snacks, mug rug for both your guests, and tea (or coffee) to go around.

This dramatic teacup and mug themed table runner is 19 x 41.5 inches. Every bit of gold is metallic, adding a lot of shine to it. The fabric is from a collection inspired by Gustav Klimt's painting The Kiss. It's a beautiful painting full if warm tones balanced with a touch if blue and green.

This adorable wallhanging is 15.25 x 9.5 inches, and has a sleeve on the back to fit a curtain rod through for hanging. All the material is 100% cotton, including the rainbow variegated thread used for the machine quilting.

The pattern I used combined traditional and foundation paper piecing. It's how the teacups are as small as they are without warping the material.

You can lay this flat, hang it on draper clips (what you see in the pictures) or a rod of some kind, or whatever tickles your fancy.

Two sets of three mug rugs were made using the teacup block and the same fabrics as the wallhanging. Buy both for a full matching collection!

The thread used for the machine quilting is, in fact, embroidery thread. I've used this thread for handquilting, and wanted to experiment with it on my machine. A variegated gray to go with the overall look from the black fabric and the idea of steam rising from a hot cup of tea.

At some point, the fabric in one corner tore. I have no idea how it happened, but it has been mended. Unfortunately, the mending is not invisible. For this reason, I have subtracted two hours of my time, $54 total, from the overall cost. This took almost 17 hours to make, I'm charging for just 15 hours plus cost of materials.
