Well, after some very fun and interesting times, I finally got round to making some more paper.Â
Here is my gunpowder tea paper, made from white paper scraps and gunpowder tea. There is a slight green tint to it and I’ve managed to keep the large leaf nature of the tea despite blending it with the paper. I spent some time over the blitzing to make sure that I caught the right moment between the paper being properly pulped and the tea still showing its nature.
I love the results from this and I think I may do a series. I’m hoping that a more green tea will give a good pale green colour and black tea should show nicely as well. I may see if leaving the tea to brew for different lengths of time makes a difference too.
