There’s just this one wild line in The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself where Soul just says something like ‘He was a Witch, Caravaggio did you know that?” which is never expanded upon and I love it they just say it and move on.

I'm on my third rewatch of The bastard son and the devil himself and has anybody else noticed that in the scene where Nathan and Gabriel wake up holding hands, Nathan is listening to Gabriel's heartbeat and as soon as Gabriel opens his eyes and sees Nathan, his heart rate picks up!!!! I love that attention to detail and it also makes my shipper-heart race!
