11x10, The Confidence Erosion
I feel vindicated. This is the episode I've been waiting for. I've always hated how mean everyone is to each other, and the fact that this show finally addressed it (well, started to, anyway) makes me somewhat hopeful for the future. I hope Raj sticks to his guns and demands better behavior from Howard, and I hope Penny and Leonard are kinder to each other. I hope this means they'll address Bernadette's horrid cruelty, and everyone's tendency to make Sheldon the butt of their jokes. Maybe this would change the funny, but maybe it's time to get more creative about the funny, instead of relying on the same shtick over and over.
Oh, and Shamy has actually made me laugh lately, so that's an improvement. (I still ship Shenny though.)
Also, Confident!Raj is damn sexy. Finally, they gave him a story line that isn't about him being miserably single. He's a frickin astrophysicist, and his work deserves some time in the spotlight. And Stewart is a frickin entrepreneur, with a comic book store that has been open for over a decade. He needs a better storyline, too.
I could go on and on but it's probably asking too much. I'll take the win.
