#tbb redesign

I saw a picture of winter soldier where he's kneeling down to pet a cat with his roboarm, so Echo gets the same thing.

Hunter - Kaleesh genes make his senses sharper, and gives him infrared sensing (and by extension night vision) and stronger hunting instincts - His ears are pointy and taller than normal, but he hides that with his bandana - Has pit organs under his eyes (that's how he senses infrared and electric currents) - His eyes reflect light and have slit pupils - His pinkies work as secondary thumbs

Tech - Kind of a test to see how much of givins' natural affinity for mathematics is genetic and how much is socialized - He's better with maths and has quicker thinking than regular humans - Givin genes make him smaller, pale and bony, so he looks kinda sickly and starved but he's totally normal - The glasses help hide how deep his eyes are - The "balding" look from his original design is now because of his bone structure

Wrecker - Gamorrean genes give him enhanced strength - It also gives him a very strong sense of loyalty, and makes him tend to be stubborn - He's actually a little bit shorter than an average clone, but he's so wide that people think he's taller than he really is - His left canine broke in the same incident where he lost his left eye

So yeah this sort of happened. Finally started on my redesigns for tbb. Mainly just giving them over the top tattoos. I have Echo and Hunters planned out, but my dad helped me with Techs. He may have to help me with Wrecker and Crosshairs , too. I need to think more on them lmao. But yes, I had a lot of fun with this and if you happen to use the redesign please tag me! I’d love to see your guys a drawings of him!

Ha, made it on Friday 😎 here’s my take on Hunters tattoos and my character design of my man. Even put his hair up because yuh, I said so 😳 hope y’all enjoy this. I sure did, especially since I found some new brushes I LOOOVE.

Heyo! So, I've been watching TBB, and... yeah, there's def some things that need to go/be fixed. So I'm redesigning the characters and their character profiles. I'm hoping to maybe do a little fic writing? But I can't promise anything 😩. Bc I'm that sort of person, I also have an oc I'd like to throw in much, much later. First for the plot we need to focus on how nothing makes sense. So, here are my new profiles for these guys :)

Overall

The Bad Batch aren’t actually technically from the same single batch but from a batch series. There were dozens of others who never made the cut and were decommissioned.

Hunter and Wrecker are from the same batch and remember better all of the things they were subjected to and all the other vode they had.

They got Crosshair next, the only natural survivor of his batch and still very young (3 or 4 at the time). T

ech was also the last of his batch, except his batch was subjected to many more tests; the ones who failed and the ones whose bodies finally gave in were decommed (or dead). He was folded into the rest of the batch at age 6, meaning he has been part of the Batch for the least amount of time (besides Echo).

The 99 series of batches all trained with each other to some degree, so they all at least had seen each other around and had some initial level of trust in each other.

Omega, the actual oldest of the 99 series, was present when the rest of the series was cloned, and despite being so young at the start, she remembers each of the Batch’s beginnings.

Omega

Age: 13

Omega is curious and fun-loving. She is an even better strategizer than Echo and a quicker thinker than Tech - but she’s still young and learning, so she makes mistakes every now and then.

She’s very tactile with her affection. She will sit and watch whatever her vode are watching, or listen to whatever music they’re listening to, or ask them questions about their latest readings, simply happy to hear about what makes them happy.

Her drink of choice is warm milk and honey

She enjoys cuddles and snuggles and every bit of time she has with her new family.

She’s FS though no one knows it yet.

Echo

Age: 12/24

Echo is, obviously, dealing with a lot of trauma. He has a hard time feeling like he belongs with the batch, especially as he is older. It takes little effort to step in as their ori’vod, though, and providing them with that sort of steady influence.

He is, however, the Mom Friend and does his best to make sure they’re eating - and cleaning - correctly. If someone is hurt, he’s there to comfort. If there’s a nightmare, he’s there to soothe.

Echo is an analytical thinker, a strategic and tactical genius. He’s good with anything that can be memorized.

He loves to read, but it’s a mix of manuals, histories, and fiction (he picked up fiction from Fives who would listen instead of read but enjoyed it all the same).

Prefers herbal teas sweetened with creamer and honey, and he sweetens his caf the same way

He listens to lofi music

Like Cross, he genuinely cares about and is loyal to his vode, but like Wrecker he’s good at showing it though he’s much quieter in his affection.

He’s very protective of his new vod’ike, but like any family, they drive him up the wall.

Hunter

Age: 11/22

Hunter is actually the one who is ‘against’ regs, but it’s more of an apathy than anything else; it kinda stems from his pride, thinking his Batch are better, but it also comes from the way most of the vode have treated them: cruelly. He reached a point that was like, Well, if you don’t care about us, why should I care about you?

His heightened senses also make it difficult to connect with any/many people, so there’s an element of keeping his distance for the sake of his sanity/wellbeing.

He’s not a fan of holoseries or reading, but he likes to listen to soft, classical symphonies when it won’t overwhelm him.

He drinks water because the chemicals and treatments in caf are too strong for him to stomach.

He’s afraid of failing his brothers and has frequent nightmares about it.

He loves rain in isolated, mountainous areas because the rain becomes whitenoise for his volume-one classical music radio; other than his sense-deprivation tank back on Kamino, this is the easiest environment for him to sleep in.

Wrecker

Age: 11/22

Wrecker is a fun-loving adrenaline junky who hates heights and loves explosions. He was caught too close to a blast once that cost him his left eyes and the hearing in his left ear. He received a bionic eye, but his hearing is mostly shot on that side.

He’s afraid of heights and hates bugs (especially arachnids).

He loves cuddles and rainstorms and soap operas.

He doesn't care for music much, but he loves him some epic soundtracks (Space LOTR)

Drink of choice is hot chocolate, but he'll take his caf with lots of sugar and creamer

He’s fiercely protective of his batch, and he’s vowed to use his strength only and however they need it.

He’s a chemistry whiz who uses his love of chemical reactions in his love of explosions. For him, the attraction to explosives is the challenge and the awe-inspiring event of the flash-bang-whoosh that would end lives if it weren’t for his diligence and understanding.

Gives the best hugs and is the most empathetic.

Crosshair

Age: 9/18

Crosshair is protective and loyal to a fault. He would do anything for any of his brothers, including the ‘regs’ (a term he adopted from Hunter even if he doesn’t mean it cruelly).

Despite his snark and closed-off attitude, Cross genuinely cares and wants to help.

He doesn’t care for holoseries because the lights hurt his eyes and give him headaches. Focusing on holonovels can also hurt his eyes, but he enjoys reading. He compromises by listening to holonovels (he prefers mysteries and historical fiction).

Drink of choice is caf lightly sweetened

Unsurprisingly, he is the most patient of his siblings and enjoys using that skill to rile them up.

His slimmer build is best for speed and stealth - the two things a sniper most needs.

His pick-chewing habit is born from social anxiety: because he doesn’t interact with anyone other than his batch often, he gets anxious when he has to interact with regs - but he secretly enjoys every opportunity he has to interact with the other vode.

He has mild albinism.

He listens to music occasionally, and when he does it leans towards rock and techno - anything with a good beat and/or bass that he can feel in his body to help him concentrate.

Tech

Age: 8/16

Tech is the baby of the batch - and no one lets him forget it.

His quick mind and critical thinking skills mean that he spends most of his time buried in his head and his work.

He’s on the Spectrum and prefers the methodic work of mechanics and engineering to the complicated mess of human emotions.

If he is watching or reading something, it will be educational; he watches documentaries and reads textbooks for fun.

He likes his caf as black as the void of space

He loves puzzle games and riddles but, like Echo, has such an instinctive grasp of them that it’s more of a way to relax than a challenge.
