I write because I must be remembered. I must be empathized. I must be felt.

I write because this world is cruel. I feel like a slave of my own feelings and emotions. I feel trapped inside this puzzling twirl of events that keep happening over and over again. All the sadness, all the pain that tend to emerge on the surface of my mind. All the things I wish I could do, but can't. All the things I want to say to somenone but can't put it into words. Everything-- it's all too much for me. So pen and paper make me feel a little better. It's a way to put every pain outside of me, outside of my soul and outside of my small, trembling body. I wish someone could read the things I write, look at it and actually understand the things I have been through. It would make me happy to think I'm not the only one - the only one in pain, the only one who feels confused, scared or sad.

I write because it seems to fill the void in my soul.

I write because my voice trembles too much to speak the truth.
