Vignale’s version of the Tatra 613, presented in 1969, was designed by Virginio Vairo as a 4-door saloon and also a 2-door coupé, both powered by a DOHC 3.5-litre air-cooled V8 engine. The sedan remained in production until 1996, but the coupé did not progress beyond a prototype. Alfredo Vignale sold his business to De Tomaso in 1969, shortly before he was killed in a car crash.
