1963 Fiat 750 Vignale Spider
Czech car-maker Tatra commissioned Italian Carrozzeria Alfredo Vignale to update their large rear-engined luxury sedan. During the Soviet Ear the cars we used by government officials and industry executives. Vignale’s version of the Tatra 613, presented in 1969, was designed by Virginio Vairo as a 4-door saloon and also a 2-door coupé, both powered by a DOHC 3.5-litre air-cooled V8 engine. The sedan remained in production until 1996, but the coupé did not progress beyond a prototype. Alfredo Vignale sold his business to De Tomaso in 1969, shortly before he was killed in a car crash.
