Chuck was humming to himself. The city had been in chaos, thanks to Mr. Joker as he’d later found out. Worse still, he’d heard on the news that Batma was dead! That’d really taken the wind outta his kite. Batman had been nice to him, in his own way. And Chuck wanted to try and do something nice for the family he had left, those boys and girls would need to pull together after losing their dad. Poor Charlie had been in bits when Chuck had told him. 

So he was trying to steal some pieces he could work into a bat-shaped kite, maybe they could hang it up in their house or something? It seemed like a nice idea to him. Luckily the mad state in the city meant he’d had an easy time getting inside the place. He turned hearing a noise by the door and blinked at the newcomer, “Hey! Don’t set the alarm off okay! I just got the hang of finding those things.”
