Bumble and Bumble Surf Shampoo and Conditioner

Nicola’s hair smells like the ocean whenever she uses this shampoo and conditioner. She loves the ocean and it reminds her of happy times with Waverly at the beach.

Johnson’s Nightime Baby Lotion

This is something that she uses after she gives Waverly her bath. It was also something that Sarah loved as well. It helps Waverly calm down at night so the scent is usually on her hands and it also relaxes Nicola.

Vanilla

Nicola has always loved vanilla. It reminds her of baking and Nicola loves when her house smells like cookies. She always has vanilla scented candles and wax melts in her home. It also reminds her of a cookie dough fight from her past.

Gucci Guilty

Nicola loves this perfume. She loves to use this when she goes out on date nights or on weekend trips away with her boyfriend. It doesn’t take much. She loves the floral scent. She applies it to her wrists and the rest of her pulse points.

Chanel No.5

This perfume holds a special place in Nicola’s heart. It reminds her of her mother and she only uses it when she wants to feel classy or when she misses her mother. She always keeps a bottle at home and in her office at the gallery.

Coffee

Nicola loves her coffee. She loves donut shop coffee with flavored creamers so it’s no surprise that sometimes she smells like her favorite coffee.

Theo’s Sweater

Whenever she wears Theo’s sweaters or even his tshirts and hoodies she winds up smelling like whatever cologne or body wash that he has used. It calms her especially if she has had a bad day so she will put on a comfy pair of sweatpants sometimes his and will grab either a T-shirt or hoodie or both and pull her hair up into a messy bun.

Agent Nateur & Shiva Rose Deodorant

It’s a natural deodorant that Nicola loves to use. It smells like sandalwood and rose and she loves the scent. She has always loved the scent of roses.

Victoria Secret Love Spell body spray and lotion

Lucas James Hendrix, bad boy rocker turned good? For many years, Lucas was known as the drummer for Broken Republic. Slowly he’s been stepping into the lime light, joining along side his younger brother Noah North. Becoming one of the lead vocals in the band. Although, for this young rocker things Just haven’t been the easiest in his life. As a recovering drug addict, he tried his best to clean up his act. Even after a failed marriage, Lucas Hendrix was able to win his rights back over his first-born Brennan Kingston Hendrix. However, the biggest scoop that’s hitting most new stands would be Broken Republics upcoming Summer tour which will be bringing the band state side as well as 4 major European countries. What does this mean for our favorite drummer, when it comes to his family or love life? Will history repeat itself? GQ: Thanks for taking the time off to meet with us, we know how busy you and your brother have been with the upcoming album launch.

Hendrix: Oh, it’s all good mate. Happy to be here.

GQ: Alright, well lets get down to the nitty gritty. For starters, the new album you and your brother are working on. What can you tell us about it.

Hendrix: Well from what I can tell you. We’ve definitely taken a different path with it. With everything that has been going on in my brother’s life and my own, we decided to get a bit grungier… darker, edger. It’s honestly going to be awesome.

GQ: It’s nice to see you guys take a different turn with your music. We can’t wait for this album launch. Now for the summer tour, you worried about the Groupies this time around? Last we heard you and Raelynn Ackerley were item.

Hendrix: Groupies? You’re going to get me in trouble. I rather not discuss my private life

GQ: Very well, how about your brother’s Trial how are you holding up after that, I know you and Nova Knox were pretty close when she was alive.

Hendrix: I think it was dumb that my brother got tried for something he didn’t do and as for Nova we were close and as for discussing this further, I prefer we not.

Silence had over the room, to a point it almost became very uncomfortable. I almost thought Lucas would have left by then, but instead we continued the interview.

GQ: Well lets get back to discussing the band, so where are you guys touring this summer?

Hendrix: Were going to 5 states, state side which would be California, Texas, Chicago, Florida, and New York however not in the specific order as for the European tour to end our tour would be Spain, France, Germany, and last but definitely not least right back home.

GQ: that’s amazing and sounds like a lot of fun, so what’s the name of the upcoming Album?

Hendrix: Our new album is called Grim Reaper, which like was early will be dropping next so definitely keep an eye on it.

GQ: Oh we will definitely be looking out for that. I apologize in advance jumping around, but we really want to know what’s going on with Ms. Ackerley. Last we heard you two as well as your son flew out of London recently to… Fiji… family trip?

Hendrix: Hendrix laughs, before finally answering the question. It was a trip to get away from everything that was happen. Between Rae and I we were both going through a bit of a rough time and we just wanted to get away. At the time my son was with me, I wasn’t going to leave him behind. So Yes, we left London together as for a family trip. It was just a trip to get away from London. Hendrix shifted uncomfortably in his seat, clearing his throat.

Hendrix: Look if you don’t have any more questions about the band, I’m sure we’re done with this interview.

They say it’s what makes us who we are. 

But, what if there are certain members of our family that makes us question even the basic morals? Do we get to pick and choose our genes? Do we get to pick who we trust in the family? Do we honestly make our own paths or are we doomed? Are we going to end up like the very people we want to kill in our memories?

Welcome to my family tree. 

Louis Gabriel Valdez- Grandfather, Mother’s father, deceased. 

Louis was a ruthless business mogul from Madrid, Spain. He made great connections and even greater enemies. He kept his work very quiet, his wife knowing nothing of the murders he just had to do...for business. He ended up moving his family to London, where he started anew. He and his wife, Norma, opened up a small floral shop- Flores Lindas. He drank red wine and enjoyed a cigar every night. He died soon after his daughter became a born again Christian. He never met Noah, but was extremely proud of Lucas. 

Norma Maria Ortega Valdez- Grandmother, Mother’s mother, alive. 

Norma was a stay at home mom, never really caring for much besides her beautiful daughter and her garden. She never questioned her husband but if he raised his voice at her, it was hell to pay. Norma was fiery, put too much food on the table, and has now encouraged her daughter to be the best Christian woman she can be. She would prefer her to be Catholic, but as long as she is off the pills, she’s happy. She cut off Noah the day she found out he was bi, but regular tries to keep in touch with Lucas. 

Victoria “Tori” Maria Wiles nee Ortega Valdez- The mother of Lucas and Noah, alive.

Tori was always the rebellious doting daughter. She was beyond beautiful and when her father moved their family to London she was spotted by a local modeling agent. She knew how to manipulate people to get what she wanted, she had the looks to get away with anything. All she did was sleep her way through life. She became a Victoria’s Secret Angel and met James Hendrix. They were a passionate pair, but they fought a lot. After the pregnancy, she became to consume more and more pills, along with who knows what. When James divorced her, she was placed in a rehabilitation program, from there, she became a born again Christian. Wearing more modest clothing, meant for the “true Christian” woman. She met Malek Nasser in church and that was history. They married and son, Noah was born. 

Tori was an addict that needed a void filled. Her void? Jesus. She hosted the Wednesday Ladies Church Club. All of them had ideals that would make Jesus weep. Soon, she was locking Noah up in a closet to make sure he stayed straight as an arrow. When Malek found out how Tori was treating their son, he divorced her, but the trauma had already stuck with Noah. A couple of years ago Tori remarried, for the third time, to Reverend Christopher Wiles. She still sends Noah messages about how he is going to hell. How he needs to repent for his sins. If he joined the Reverend’s church he could be saved. 

Razan Nasser- father’s dad, deceased. 

Hilda Nasser nee Azmeh- father’s mom, deceased. 

Malek Nasser- Noah’s father, alive. 

Malek grew up in London after his parent’s migrated. He was the last sibling of 5, he was always the calculated one, business guy all the way. There was no real passions in his life, until he met Tori Hendrix. She brought him a fire in his soul. She was beautiful, had turned her life around. It was something he respected. He had the same job, only now he was the Vice President of the company, so when he met her? He was head over heels. But then he saw the monster inside of her came out. He found his own son locked up in a closet. He packed up his belongings and Noah’s belongings, moved into his parent’s old house in Manchester and filed for divorce the next day. He might not understand Noah’s love for music, but he does help the band if they have any business questions. He’s just glad that he’s free and happy. Love is love, God is love, and he’s the proud father of a bisexual son. 

Lucas James Hendrix- Half-brother, alive.

Lucas was the first born and loves to fucking gloat about that fact. If there is anyone in my family that I’m most like, it’s him. Despite him having a completely different father, our passion for music brought us closer together. Plus, we both have our crazy mother in common. I think it’s easier for him though, he’s dad took him away when he was two. But then again, she was also on pills. With me, she was sober. He keeps me sane, I keep him sane. We’re brothers who help one another. Make fun of one another. He’s a good guy. i care about him, even when he makes fucking stupid decisions. But, we’ve all been there. Plus, again, we have that same monster inside of us. We need each other to make sure that goes away. 

Looking back into my family, I hope I’m not destined to become something I don’t want to be. I’m already a fuck up though. Just ask 17 year old Nova. I ruined her life, back then, when I was only 19. I turned to alcohol and other drugs to drown my sorrows, to hide my pain. I became a monster. 

Am I really better than my own mother? Her blood runs through mine. Her voice constantly in the back of my mind. I’m just a faggy boy, with no real direction in life other than anger. 

I’m praying nightly that I don’t lose my mind like her. 

I’m praying I’m not that monster. 

But, when I look at myself I remind myself one thing.

I have her eyes.
