The sounds of teacups clinking and laughter were emitting from Tarrant's humble abode. Everyone in Underland knew why— Tarrant and Alice were having their own tea party, it was their favorite date idea.

If anyone were to look inside, they'd be greeted with the sight of Tarrant looking at Alice like she was the only thing truly worth living for— and the look in his eyes as she smiled at him did nothing but confirm it. The hatter was oh so smitten it was sick.

"Have I ever told you how dull the sun looks compared to your hair? It's simply magnificent— But of course it's to be expected from such an ethereal lady." The Hatter exclaimed as he flew a biscuit into his mouth. Alice would giggle, watching her partner as he ate his biscuit.

Reaching over to wipe a few crumbs off his cheek, the lady would retort back, "Oh, rot! If anyone is the ethereal one it's you, Tarrant. Have you seen how brilliant your eyes are? They're truly oysters if i do say so myself."

"Nonsense, the moment I think about you I instantly turn into a gigglemug. You're the prime article, a bellibone— I feel like I'm half rats anytime I try to comprehend your beauty."

This could only make Alice giggle. It was no wonder why she decided she truly wanted to live in underland— here there were no arranged marriages to princes, or expectations bestowed upon her without her knowledge. Here, it was just her and the hatter— undoubtedly it was true love.

Tarrant would pour her another cup of tea before flying a biscuit into the tunnel that was her mouth. She would happily accept it, covering her mouth to hide the giggles that arose from his actions. She couldn't remember the last time she hadn't felt so happy to be somewhere.

Unexpectedly, there was a knock on the door. With a grunt of annoyance, Tarrant stood up and walked towards the door. Unsurprisingly, at the door was the March Hare— more casually known as Thackery.

The crazed hare was— to nobody's surprise— off his head. He was twitchy, nervous, and everything that was not needed at this tea party. As much as the hatter appreciated the hare, he did not want him intruding on his lovely date with Alice.

"Tarrant," The delirious thing began, "I do believe you're late, me and Mally have waited so long for you the crumpets have got cold!"

The words only added to Tarrant's growing annoyance, but for Alice, he would keep his composure.

"Oh, you crazy old bloke, I told you I would be having my own tea party— with Alice. I will not be attending your tea party."

Thackery could only twitch before hopping off, muttering nonsense as he got further and further away. Tarrant had to take a deep breath before turning back to his lovely Alice, who was enjoying a perfect cupcake. The sight alone instantly improved his mood.

He'd quickly sit back down, before holding the tea pot up to serve himself more tea. Apart from the march hares interruption, it had been the perfect day.

And it most certainly wouldn't be the last— their love could only continue to shine and flourish till the end of Time.
