Working on saucy spider I started a while ago~
So. In December I’ve bought a mature male Psalmopoeus cambridgei.
After stuffing the female with a hissing roach and some locust I arranged a date for the two.
Sorry for lack of photos from the actual “action” but I’ve been recording it and due to reflection in glass I won’t share it here.
Anyway - the attempt was successful and as of now I hold the claim to 100% survivability of tarantula males under my watchful eye.
It’s 2 out of 2 but 100% sounds more impressive.
Anyway. That’s second female in my care that might drop an eggsac now.
I got two new taratulas <3
In order it's Xen (Mexican stripped knee), Ru, who is wearing a multch hat (curly hair), and Roxxie, who is eating (salmon pink birdeater)
December 14: Jack Arnold's Tarantula came out 60 years ago today.

I wanna follow more blogs dedicated to reptiles (snakes in particular) and spiders (tarantulas in particular haha). So if you regularly post reptile or arachnid related things, like or reblog this and I'll follow you :D
