Working on saucy spider I started a while ago~
So. In December I’ve bought a mature male Psalmopoeus cambridgei.
After stuffing the female with a hissing roach and some locust I arranged a date for the two.
Sorry for lack of photos from the actual “action” but I’ve been recording it and due to reflection in glass I won’t share it here.
Anyway - the attempt was successful and as of now I hold the claim to 100% survivability of tarantula males under my watchful eye.
It’s 2 out of 2 but 100% sounds more impressive.
Anyway. That’s second female in my care that might drop an eggsac now.
