So, um, Sylve Gras was fun. The Tapus actually somehow managed to make it. Two accidentally got a little too much “old muscadine” and fell asleep in my yard. We can all guess who. The rest of the guests helped make a float, we did “Murkrewe de Galar” because the galarian champ and leaders didn’t get to make it. A couple people forgot to wear gloves and absolutely got their almost freezing hands practically wrecked. Oh, and some floats almost caught fire because they got overzealous with the pyrotechnics. But, the pre-parade feast the night before was so much fun, especially the cooking competitions that contributed to the feast. And the “sharing stew”, where everyone brings berries, crops and seeds from last year’s harvest, their best hunts and meats, and various starchy and carb heavy foods to serve the stew over. I always set a vegetarian version to the side for the vegetarians and it’s usually got some yummy eggs and things boiled in it.
