"Love isn't a sin. God created humans with a heart, with feelings. But it's our actions that we must take responsibility for"
— Ticket To Heaven (May 30th)
Tanrak kept his love notes in the bible and pressed Barth's flowers to him between those pages and he drew their little sheep in his homework note book and he was so happy and so loved...
And when he burnt it all he had to face the people he feared the most with the ashes of his love story on his hands, the sins of love staining him.
everything about the confession and kiss scene was so perfect, the tension, the music, the lighting, geminifourth’s spectacular acting and microexpressions, the build up... chef’s kiss!! loved it so much, genuinely brought me to tears

thinking about barth telling tanrak that its been a long time since his last confession and teasing him about what will he even confess about and then later in the end of the episode we see the parallel of barth confessing his feelings to tanrak and the bathroom setting being symbolic of a confessional booth and then tanrak also confessing that he isn't a favourite son of god either :(
also want to talk about the way p'aof uses light. in this scene even though tankrak is faced away and hiding from barth his shadow still is facing and leaning close towards barth,,, barth's half of the space is also blue and the fenced (?) window is basically the line that is dividing them that he thinks tanrak is drawing by running away but then when he finally allows him to enter the space we see how theyre both engulfed in this golden light; its like prompting the audience to ask if hiding your feelings is what god wants then why does finally admitting to them and kissing each other feels so heavenly and we see this with barthtanrak being doused with a golden divine light.
