Home from the top surgery! We're going back to the city this weekend to get the drains out, but the surgery itself is over and we're home!

I hate when people show me "The Hearse Song" by Harley Poe and I say "My dad sang that to me when I was a kid :D" and they're like "But you weren't a kid in the 2010s!" Big facepalm.

The reason I make everything about being intersex is not because I believe everything is about being intersex but because, for some godforsaken reason, other people keep putting me in situations where my intersex status is relevant.

August 11 is when we're getting the top surgery, and I think we should declare it to be Voidelian Independence Day. The system are united on getting top surgery, even though we have quite a few women and transfems, because they know the reason we have breasts (or at least breasts of the size we have) is because we were forced on estrogen pills as a kid, and they agree with breaking free of the external powers that tried to take over Voidelia and change it to what they wanted it to be.

"Ix, you seem to be very hostile towards perisex people now that you know you're intersex. Why is that?" Because I discovered that I had been fucking mutilated as a child and that perisex cis people were responsible for it, and I realized that the perisex trans people around me were upholding the binaries that led to this happening, they just put "trans" or "assigned at birth" instead of "biologically" in front of words. There was no way for me to unsee that shit once I saw it and I was privileged to be able to just put up with it before. I no longer have that privilege.

It's wild to me how many people actively choose being intersexist over just sitting down and listening to intersex people about their experiences and identities. So much intersexism would be gone if you just fucking listened to intersex people, but a lot of people. Just vastly prefer hating on a very vulnerable queer minority.

Sometimes it's hard for me to believe that people actually see me as the real me, because a lot of people don't seem to understand who and what the real me even is, but that's okay. I know Troy understands the real me and knows what it means for me to be the person I am and that he sees me as I am. I don't care if other people don't understand. Sometimes it hurts knowing that the people around me, including the ones I care about, will never understand, but that's okay. They don't need to. That's what Troy is for.
