pitch your source is kind of but not, a canon call blog.

the goal is instead of sending in canon calls or talking about your identity or canon, you talk about the source itself (or your sourcemates) to pitch them to others. the end goal is for someone to check out the source, and maybe they end up being kin, linking, or introjected from it! and if not, maybe they still like it and you have a new person to yap about it with. i also don't care if you use this just to find new media to get into in general. interact with the pitches of sources you end up checking out or plan to. you can do this by leaving comments, reblogging, or sending asks to this blog. even if you're just saying "woah! that source sounds cool!" feel free to send a follow up ask if you end up kinfirming or kinsidering from a pitched source! while this is, by definition, very media sourced fictionfolk oriented, i personally would find it extremely funny if you also pitched animals, concepts and other such creatures as though they were media someone's never heard of. so feel free to try to do that. go ahead, pitch the concept of being a pumpkin and see if more people become pumpkinkin.

this blog accepts most sources and pitches, but may decline at mod's discretion. mod is not an expert on all sources pitched and cannot speak for their accuracy or content.

pitches can be done seriously or silly-ly.

FULL NAME the source at least once in the pitch for tagging purposes!

sources can be pitched more than once! so even if someone else has already pitched your source, feel free to send your own pitch!

images of source are optional but recommended, though i do ask that you don't use fanart or non-official art in your pitches to avoid crediting issues. (if you made the art, go wild)

you can pitch via the ask box OR you can make your own post and @ this blog with your pitch and we'll reblog it.

out of respect to other potential sourcemates, please refrain from directly insulting them in your pitch. (eg: hey you might be a XXX kin if you're a piece of shit)
