Ooit een mooie elegante overkapping bij een tankstation op de Calle Doctor Esquerdo in Madrid, nu volgebouwd met commercie met een product van voorgaande aard. Ontwerp uit 1963 van Juan Pedro Capote en Jose Serrano-Suñer Polo.
Van tankstation naar bar. Een herbestemmingsproject van Romera y Ruiz Arquitectos in Las Palmas op het eiland Gran Canaria.
Toen de auto nog een luxeproduct was, waren de tankstations nog mooi vormgegeven. Gedurende de jaren ‘60/’70/’80 verloor de auto zijn status, of veranderde dat in ieder geval en werden de tankstations de non-discripte plekken die we nu kennen.
