Thomas Sanders (And Friends) Appreciation
I am someone who rarely finds happiness in day to day activities. I suffer from Major Depressive Disorder, anxiety, and paranoia; it is safe to assume that I have trouble finding happiness at all.
Today was one of those days. I had drama going on with friends, the usual nervousness I get when I have to shop, and it was just a normal day.
The Thomas freaking Sanders came along and flipped everything around.
And it wasn’t anything huge, but he liked, commented on my art, and followed my fan account. I cried, not only because my inspiration just acknowledged my existence, but because I was just so happy that he actually liked my mediocre art.
Obviously, Thomas makes me smile daily. Whether it’s a tweet or a old YouTube video I come across, I always end up laughing to whatever he makes. He’s truly better than any medication I’ve taken, therapy I’ve been to, or anything that’s been used to try and ease my depression.
Thomas Sanders deserves all the love and appreciation in the world. He’s created a great fandom I feel supported in, and inspired so many people to accept themselves. He’s truly an icon and someone I’ll always look up to.
Thank you, Thomas, for being you.
Also, thank you Talyn and Joan for supporting him and also helping me come to terms with my gender. I love you two just as much.
