Concept for Human AU Spamton:
Back in the days of Rotary phones and landlines, there was a number you could listen in on that would say the time every second, on the second, commonly called the Talking Clock number. It was regional too.
My personal theory/hc for game Spam is that he never knew the number of the benefactor only being the one who would get the calls, not make them himself. If he ever wanted to contact them he would just pick up the phone and theyâd know.
Going back to the Talking Clock, between seconds and beeps, thereâd be almost silence. People would talk anonymously between the beeps and arrange meet ups and stuff (creepy and unsafe I know). It would be faint, but you could have conversations.
What if in human AU, thatâs how he talked with the benefactor when HE wanted to talk. In specific time ranges, Spamton could dial in and talk to the benefactor between the beeps. Times people wouldnât commonly use it, and even then they would speak in a code sort of way.
Tenna taps the line a few times, doesnât hear or understand the whispers and is just like âDamn Spammy! You must really like that Talking Clock! I can get you a watch you know?â And Spamton just stares at him
