Ody really made that tree their bed. like that one singular olive tree, he cleared out everything else around it and carved a bed into it. then proceeded to literally build an entire palace from the ground up around it. that one tree. the only one thing he knew for sure and two for certain about that castle was just the bed, everything else was figured out after the fact. their bed was the first thing on his mind and that palace was centered around it from the gate. with all of his money and manpower as a king, that was one of the first things he did. build his wife a mcfuckin' castle from scratch, starting with a bed in the tree they met at when they were 17. dude.
