Theo groaned as he tried to keep himself awake at Sprout’s class. Herbology had never been his thing and now that it was the first class of the day, he felt even worse about it. He hated mornings, specially when he was having a terrible hangover for last night’s drinks. Theo rubbed his eyes as he tried to focus on the instructions of the woman in front of him.

“Alright then. I need you to pair up for this next assignment.” She said as she started to hand in pieces of parchment with the questions and instructions for the activity. “I need you to come to me and take a piece of paper from this bowl” she said as she held a big crystal bowl on her hands. “And the name on it would be your partner for the activity....chop, chop, young people! I don’t have all day.”

Theo lazily got up and walked towards the woman, how could she be so happy all the time? The boy picked up a piece and unfolded the paper. 

Daphne Greengrass. Of course.

The boy sighed heavily and looked around until he found the eyes he had been trying to avoid all morning. He walked towards her hesitatingly and placed her things next to hers. He showed her the piece of paper and raised an eyebrow. “I swear I did not pick it on purpose” he said as he stared at her with tired eyes. He was definitely not in the mood for another fight and he just hope she knew that.

A sip of his drink, red hues were staring out into the party goers as a way to see if everyone around was indeed behaving while also seeing if his Sharingan could pinpoint a familiar presence. It was also something of a way to test his reserves. If he was truly exhausted, he would not maintain the red eyes. Thus far, he still felt pretty good despite not feeling his best. Luckily for him, he could put on a strong front. It helped that he wasn't dying from an incurable illness eating away at his organs. His eyes did spy something unusual. Someone seemed to be sneaking near a table and... devouring the snacks like their life depended on it. Finding it curious, he would approach this individual with a bit of a smile placed.

OH MAN this is a hard one…I’m pretty intensely enamored with soundtracks from media so that’s hard to pick…I’d say everything on these soundtracks are worth checking out, but I’ll list a favorite track of each:

Kuchikamezake Trip from the Your Name OST: nothing needs to be said, everything about this movie is incredible and the beautiful unearthly quality to it is just…YES!

Mouth on Fire from the Wolf’s Rain OST: honestly this one has so many intensely different genres and pieces choosing was so HARD bless this show and bless Yoko Kanno 

slt from the Koe no Katachi OST: I’M CLEARLY BIASED but this movie hit me so, so hard, music and all

Oh boy…I’ve been fighting this all my life because I know I’m kind of a snob about music and it’s insufferable and I’m allowed to like what I LIKE, and being in a college full of music Jerks has made me embarrassed over TOO MANY THINGS

Under The Bridge by Red Hot Chili Peppers: I don’t know WHAT this band did and I know there are plenty of people out there who like it but all I know is I started playing it in the car once and my dad burst out laughing and I was NEVER THE SAME.

One Week by Bare Naked Ladies: I hide it behind memes until it grew and festered into something more. Something…resembling attachment.

…I legitimately don’t remember the name to this last one and it’s for the best. But. You know that horrible song thats like NICE LEGS DAISY DUKES it’s been looping in my head for years and it’s not going to stop.

Riversong by A Fine Frenzy: you sent me this one like yeeears ago and I loved it so much I can’t help but remember you were the one who sent it to me whenever it comes on, alongside the crushing sadness bc WOW what a sad song 

Waterfall from the Undertale OST: there’s a logical reason for this I think, considering I played Undertale and I remember being SO PUMPED that you were going to play it too, and I think you’d mentioned this area a lot? (with good reason, both the song and location are just so so good). idk it’s a game rooted very deeply in my heart with a lot of nostalgia and warmth and my friendship with you is included in that whole package!!! wow!!!

The Last of Us from The Last Of Us OST:

Oh man I’m so indecisive, so I’ll just go with songs that have really been effecting me lately??

Tin Can Ride by Gregory and The Hawk (and everything she has ever produced ever): this song makes my heart hurt but it’s so pretty and beautifully done I come back to it constantly.

Werewolves of London by Warren Zevon: because I’m determined to not make these all Sad Gay Jamz, this is the polar opposite of everything and the line “and his hair was perfect…[INDESCRIBABLE NOISE]” gets me every time
