I’m desperate [tablet issues]
Okay, so I’ve literally posted about this just about everywhere I can think of, googled until I can no longer google, and I still can’t seem to find a straight answer. So, I figured why not post here, too. So, about 4-5 months ago the stylus for my tablet began lagging. An irritating, maddening, half-second delay. I thought I could look it over, but became painfully clear that it was an issue that couldn’t be ignored. I searched and searched and eventually found a workaround where you disable the “flicks” on the pen and touch tab on the computer’s control center. This worked and for the last few months things have been perfectly fine. However, it has started again. The problem this time is that the “flicks” tab no longer seems to exist (and from what I gather, it wasn’t an end-all-be-all solution, anyway.) I’ve adjusted all my pen and touch options, turned off my pen and touch options, disabled/enabled Windows Ink, and messed with almost every bit of tablet software that exists on my computer. My computer has been restarted, turned off, adjusted--nothing seems to work! So, rundown of my tools, for clarity:
Windows 10 - all updated as far as I can tell--last update came in August. But the issue just started about a week ago, so I’m not entirely sure if the update is the issue.
Wacom Intuos Pro - tablet driver also updated; even rolled back to the previous version to insure the recent update wasn’t the problem, by some chance.
And, if it matters, an Asus laptop.
Every single thread I find ends up with one of two things happening: either a Microsoft rep asking the same questions, seemingly ignoring the details of the actual issue, and offering “solutions” that don’t work. Or someone saying “turn off flicks”--which I (and apparently tons of others) physically cannot do. I’m ready to tear my hair out and am this close to breaking down crying. I have design specs for a job assessment that I need to get done and drawings that I was so excited to be working on. And I can’t with this problem! Does anyone know how to solve this? Between this and the infamous Spring “phantom desktop” update--which screwed not only with my desktop, but somehow also the wifi connection with my laptop to a point I had to actually take it in to a repair shop (Microsoft now owes me 100 bucks, as far as I’m concerned)--I’m about ready to call it quits with Microsoft. I’ve spent more time trying to fix issues and create workarounds than I’ve spent working on art. God forbid these people make sure their software works before forcing it on everyone. One thing I will mention is that this issue seems to crop up every time I change pen nibs. However, I feel that’s more correlation over causation. Then again, at this point, who even knows!!!!! Certainly not Microsoft or Wacom, I guess!!!! If you know a solution or know of anyone who might, please pass this along! I would be so, so grateful! Edit: HUGE thank you to blauwegiraf who suggested going to the tablet utility file and removing all user preferences--it worked!Â
So, As I was working on Huevember day 5, my tablet broke. So I now have 6 unfinished projects that I can’t do anything with. Luckily, I did get these done, and I like them a lot.
I was going to tell a story every 5 days, so these four are the beginning of one.
My tablet has been broken for the past 3 weeks, so here, have a shitty old doodle of Morena Rex’s previous form.  I’m gonna redesign the shit out of this thing once I get a new tablet.Â
also I think I figured out what’s wrong with my tablet and the lag - the wire must be messed up or something because when I use it wirelessly it’s fine
the question is, how do I fix the wire so it stops lagging the connection :’D

Hey y’all! My tumblr does not seem to be working on my tablet (where all my drawings are). I have done Day 160 of DECIW and have “posted” it, although it does not appear on my blog when I check it. I hope you have a lovely day/night as I work on fixing the issue! :3
Disclaimer!!
My tablet isn't working!! Two days ago we had a big power outage that may have compromised my tablet, I don't know. I use Huion and when you install it it comes with an app you can open and change pen pressure settings and all that. Currently, all areas of the Huion App Menu are greyed out or blocked out and I'm trying to figure out why this is happening. I may need to reinstall my tablet as a last resort if I don't fix it ant other way. With that being said any YCH or Art Trades I am currently working on have been put on hold until this problem is fixed. I can't work on them otherwise and my Wacom is out of commission since all it does is fritz and won't work properly. (the whole reason I got the Huion.) Also, recently, I got really sick so I haven't been able to do much for school so that'll get really busy, really soon, so I apologize for the hold up in the case of art, replies and such. I will try and get everything done in a timely manner as best I can!! Come August, I will be generally free to do what I can so expect me to be a hell of a lot more active come summer break! I will post an update when things have been fixed and everything is back on track!!

Okay so I've had this tablet for about an hour and for the first 30 minutes it was working fine but then it just stopped inputting the signals from my pen to the computer and I've been trying to fix this for half an hour I've looked up things online and I've looked through all the settings and nothing I do works.
