Cw: fluff, crack, reader and Feyd are slowly getting used to each other, Feyd is still down bad, reader has long hair, neurodivergent coded!reader.
"I think you would look beautiful with long hair, Feyd."
"Don't mock me, woman."
Your eyes gleam with amusement, your hand lifting your hair to place over Feyd's head while he gazes down on the documents on his desk.
You sigh, twirling strands of your hair as they flick onto the side of Feyd's head. "But you must think of what it would be like to have hair, no? Or is it something the Harkonnens are advanced from already?â"
The pale man roles his eyes, dipping his fingers in a small bowl of water before flicking his fingers towards your face. You yelp, recoiling as you send him a glare whilst the man has the gall to let out a silent smirk.
"You know, you would be more likeable if you had less of a scowl and if you maybe decided to wear a fancy wigâ"
"Harkonnens must be known for our brutality and stark appearance, my wife. If I did not keep up my reputation, others would begin to believe that acceptions are tolerated, and seperate houses would begin to think we are weak."
You purse your lip, giving thought to his perspective as you stare down at the locks of your hair. Huh, come to think of it, you were like the albino of the House Harkonnen, appearance completely different from theirs which made you feel rather different at times. "Hmm, so does this mean I should cut my hair?"
Feyd stillsâ eyes wide at the thought of you cutting your hair as the documents start to crease in his grip in reflex.
"Cut your hair, dearest?" Feyd asks, throat bobbing as he avoids your eyes. The muscles in his jaw clench, as he can't even bring himself to think about something that was so you be taken away.
"Well, I've been thinking about it because I feel like it maybe needed a trim, but now that I mention it I think it would be more appropriate ifâ"
The man's ears ring, unable to pay attention to your words as he stares at the wall in contemplation and inner agony.
"Na-Baron, are you even listening??â"
Feyd's eye twitches, enough to bring him back to this horrible reality at the mention of you addressing him with that damn title.
"How many times have I told you to not call me that? You're my wife, for fucks sakeâ"
"Oh, stop cursing, will you?? I just wanted your opinion on a very important matter on the reputation that you said House Harkonnen should maintain!â"
"No."
Your mouth falls agape, deadpanning at your arranged husband as he crosses his arms and turns away from you in his chair.
Is he pouting?? Is he seriously pouting??â
You huff, tilting your head to the side as you scratch your head in thought. "But I thought you were all for tradition and seriousness!"
"Being married to you means being in your presence, which is the opposite of seriousness, wife."
Feyd casts a glance to you from the corner of his eye. "You drive me insane, woman. The wife's duty is not to deprive the husband of his sanity, what you do to me is not tradition-"
Your eye twitches in irritation, letting out a huff as you flip the bowl of water so that it splashes Feyd in the side of his head. The na-Baron flinches, ducking the swat of your sandal as he catches your wrist in his palm. Feyd meets your eyes, staring into you as you squint at him in calculation.
"Don't cut your hair."
"Is that what this was about? Why didn't you just start with that first, you bastard?"
"Because as your husband, I thought it would be kind of me to let you know that you're not normal."
"You're definition of kindness is terrible. You are terrible."
"What would be terrible was if you cut your hair. Don't do it."
You squint at the man, staring down at him as he merely blinks at you in nonchalance. Feyd brings your wrist closer to his lips, placing your palm against his cheek as he presses his lips against your pulse point.
"Your hair is majestic, my wife. Do not cut it for the sake of tradition or to please others."
Tha-thump.
Your eyes soften in surprise, feeling heat rush to your face as you avert your eyes and clear your throat. "Well, if you like it so much, then I suppose I can let it grow."
Feyd looks up at you, puppy-dog eyes as he gives you a soft smile and rubs his thumb across the back of your hand. God, was he falling in love with you.
You glance at him, a sly grin making its way onto your lips as you raise your eyebrows teasingly. "I guess I can let it grow long enough so that we can make a wig for you, na-Baronâ"
Feyd deadpans, smile dropping as he stares at you disappointingly while you snicker. Oh, for fucks sake, you just had to ruin the moment, didn't you?
"Wife, you and your... weirdness ruin my hopes that you will let me live in peace and quiet."
"Aww, thank you husband!"
The Harkonnen dies internally at your bluntness. God, was this going to be a long married life.

The Brotherhood sent you as Muad'Dib's concubine to try to manipulate him, but all you want is to live free, so you don't try to persuade him, but to escape. You didn't care about this marriage, you didn't even care about Paul Atreites.
So why the hell are you trembling so much?
Two months have passed since that day, things have movedâŠslowly.
You had a month of "preparation," being cared for by the emperor's Fremen servants to become "worthy."
The wedding was reasonable, to tell the truth.
You were dressed in green, the color of House Atreides, in a rich dress, a dress a slave wouldn't wear. The ceremony was in the Palace itself, broadcast to the great housesâa request from the Reverend Mother.
The emperor wasâŠkind.
He walked beside you and offered his hand to lead you to the altar. Throughout Stigar's speech, he looked at you harmlessly.
You don't know what to think of it.
Paul Atreites had several concubines, but accounts say they died before consummating their wedding night. He was never kind to his companions either. You don't know if this is a game he's playing or a test, but you're going along with it.
This should have been the biggest highlight of the last month.
But then, you cut ties with the Reverend Mother.
The fight between you and her happened days after your wedding; the emperor couldn't fulfill his wedding night that month due to political issues. This left you alone, giving her an opening.
You ended up exploding.
That crazy woman tried to get you to poison the emperor with some damn aphrodisiac, so he would be vulnerable and you could use him. You weren't going to do that.
No matter how bad Paul Atreites was, nobody deserved to be sexually used against their will. You refused to do it, and she tried to use her voice, her damn voice, on you. You snapped.
This led to the situation where you haven't seen her since, asking them not to let her speak to you (it wasn't difficult, you learned that nobody in this palace liked her). You weren't going to put up with her anymore, screw the mission, you're leaving anyway, you just have to go with the flow for now and then get out.
There's only one problem.
The wedding night.
Like every marriage, you and Paul must have⊠intimate relations. It was expected of you.
But you didn't know how to satisfy a man.
Of course, you were taught about sex, the process in this case. But as a slave you weren't taught about pleasure. Damn, you never even got to touch yourself!
So now, while the maids dressed your body in a beige silk dress, loose-fitting and easy to remove, you were sweating cold. The emperor decided today was the fateful day.
You won't lie, you're nervous.
What if he's rough? Maybe he's sadistic? Will he hurt you?
There's also the possibility that he doesn't even want to lie down, but you don't know.
You were wearing nothing but the dress, no accessories, hair loose, subtle perfumes, something easy to remove. You were led to his room, your hands trembling with an emotion you couldn't define.
You took a deep breath when you were left there.
It's okay, just go with the flow.
It will pass soon.
Paul felt something he couldn't quite define.
You were, at the very least, interesting.
Since the ceremony, Paul hadn't seen you, and yet you remained in his thoughts at various times. He has to admit, when Gurney warned him of your conversation with the old witch, he was surprised that you refused to sedate him.
It would have been a good chance, although Paul doubted he would have succumbed to the poison; he wouldn't have seen the situation coming, just as he doesn't see you.
So, why didn't you accept?
It seems that with each passing day you spend in his palace, you stir his mind more and more. To the point that even his mother noticed.
What were you?
He didn't bother to wear the ceremonial wedding attire given to him, although he knew you would be wearing it; he saw no reason to wear it, he would take it off anyway.
Paul was still wary of you, but as he walked to the room he realized that this would happen somehow. He would decide how that night would end.
Imagine her surprise when she came in and found you at the window.
Process him, but he thought he'd find you lying seductively on the bed or in the center of the room, not engrossed in the outside world. What an interesting little thing you were.
You noticed his presence and bowed, not rising as he walked toward the bed.
"So?" he asks, taking a sip of water from the glass beside him, "do you want to say something?"
You stare at him for a while, until your expression becomes determined, "Actually, I want to."
"I was sent here to subdue the Emperor for the brotherhood, but I suppose you already know that," Paul gives you a small smile; he's known this for a long time, little one. "And I know you don't trust my word."
"But I don't want to be a part of this. I hate Reverend Mother as much as you do, and I won't be a pawn in her game." You sigh, the tremor in your lips revealing your nervousness. "So if the Emperor doesn't wish it, we can⊠each stay in a corner. We'll just follow appearances and⊠we don't need to put on this charade here."
âŠ
Paul is surprised.
He's changed his mind.
"I understand," he says softly, and a tense minute of silence stretches between you two, lost in thought. He's the first to break it. "You knowâŠyou're not the first concubine the Reverend Mother has sent me to try and subdue me⊠But you're the first one who's truly honest with me."
He approaches, and you raise your head to meet his, his height towering over yours. "You're really different."
Confusion spreads across your face. So cute. So captivating. "Thank you, your deityâ"
"But even if we're actors, we must perform the wedding night." You freeze, not expecting him to actually follow through.
"Are you sure, my lord?"
The blue Fremen eyes look at your face, knowledge swirling in his irises. "What are you so afraid of? It doesn't seem like it's just because of the situation with the old witch."
Not knowing what to say, you tell him the truth. "I wasn't taught toâŠsatisfy a man, my lord?"
"What do you mean?"
"I wasn't sexually educated, sir."
"âŠWow, I thought all Bene Gesserit had that education."
You get excited, since he possibly doesn't know who you are. "I amâŠdifferent, my lord."
Paul stares at you, his eyes traveling over your face, the face he was so fascinated by, the face that was so nervous in front of him now, and a hint of affection surged in his chest. He lifted your chin with two fingers, just as he did before, and asked, "Do you trust me?"
"What do youâ"
"Do you trust me?"
Your eyes meet his, and for some reason, you feel safe there.
"Yes."
Paul smiled. And this time, it was with affection.
Shit.
How can a man be so relentless ?
Her fingers gripped the pillow as the emperor fucked her pussy. The impact of his pelvis against her ass made the stars dance forcefully between her eyelids, tears welling in the corners of her eyes as his glans kissed her cervix.
Her moans were muffled by the pillow in her mouth, but Paul could feel the vibration in her intimacy every time he tenderly caressed her waist. He thrust hard and deep into her preciousness, the juices from the mess he made earlier running down her legs, Paul drank from her like a man dying of thirst in the desert.
At some point, he began to kiss her back, increasing the speed as she trembled on top of him. She was short-circuiting, trying not to make so much noise, but the sound of her pussy sucking his cock didn't help, the sound of the kisses and the emperor's touches on her body didn't help at all.
Oh my God, how good that felt.
How many hours had you been at it? You don't know, but your intimacy was VERY heightened, you lost count of how many times you came on his cock and how many times he filled you with his load, but you know you'd been at it for a long time.
The sun will rise soon.
"Look at you, receiving me so well," Atreides squeezed your hips as he plunged his cock into your cervix and left it there deliciously pressed, the action eliciting a loud moan from you and a heat rising in his chest. "It's like you were made for me, huh?"
Increasing the speed, you felt him kissing your neck while fondling your breasts, the tearful mess you were would embarrass the noblewomen of the great houses, but you couldn't think about that.
Paul pulled your chest up, hugging you against his own chest, the angle making his penis fuck you faster, he turned your head and you stared at each other. Paul smiled. "Name"
"NoâŠI can'tâ"
"Yes, you can, darling, come on, give me another one, please?" He turned you to face him and lifted your legs, one of his hand going to your sensitive clitoris. "Please, come on, beautiful, give me another one? The last one?"
You moaned.
He increased the pace.
"LordâOh Creatorâ"
"Paul," your eyes widened, and he smiled as the familiar pressure in your stomach approached again. "Call me Paul, love."
"Now, come for me."
The permission of your name along with the use of his voice made you arch your back, your body filling you as Paul fucked you between his legs, increasing the speed so you could finish together.
He came with a strong push, burying his face in your neck as his balls trembled, when a jet of hot sperm filled you, your body â which had already finished â started again, making your vagina milk the emperor's thick length.
You both simply lay there, embraced, panting and tired. Paul hugged you with a tenderness you hadn't expected from him.
He rose to your face, two souls gazing at each other with feelings deep inside. "Promise you'll stay by my side?"
His voice came out weak, a small laugh. "I think we already made our vows at the altar, Sir."
Instead of getting angry, he kissed your lips, soft and delicate. When he separated, he asked again, "It's Paul, princess. Promise you'll stay by my side?"
You looked at him. He looked at you. The sunlight began to appear in the windows, illuminating your face and his.

The ancient walls of Castle Caladan were a fortress, the long winding halls a labyrinth to those unfamiliar with its layout. You had tried feigning sleep when you had been made aware of the surprise guestâs arrival, a one âreverend motherâ- as your mother referred to her. The cool air from the hallway nipped at your exposed arm, which currently hung limply over the side of the bed.Â
âSheâs even smaller than your son, Jessica.â The voice sounded more like a wheeze- and it certainly didnât belong to anyone you had ever met before.Â
âAs Iâve already said, the Atreides are slow to grow.â Your motherâs tone didnât hold even a semblance of a bite to it, not like you expected. She was usually fiercely protective of you and your brother.Â
Your finger twitched, causing the woman to stifle whatever disapproving comment she was about to make. Being caught eavesdropping like this certainly wasnât ideal, but you found it impossible not to be curious.Â
âShe really is just like her brother,â More like he was more like you. Youâd always been the rowdy one of the two. Paul must have been listening in as well, and you imagined that he was more insulted at the comments of his lack of height and muscle than you were. âThe little rascals.âÂ
There was a beat of silence before the woman began to crone again. This time you opened your eyes just a sliver, staring into the dark abyss of your room so that you could make out the shapes of your mother and the stranger.Â
âRest now. Both you and your brother need to be prepared to meet my Gom Jabbar.â The reason couldnât be pinpointed, but there was something about her tone that filled you with dread.
Your mother woke you up the next morning, bright and early.Â
Not even the breathing exercises that your mother had taught you had been able to calm you down last night. The darkness had swallowed you whole, which resulted in a dreamless sleep that left you feeling just as unrested as you had felt the night before. Your mother noticed your hesitations, the skirts of her dress dragging against the stone floor as she moved in the direction of your closet. The dress that she picked out for you was one of your more official garments, the red hawk of the Atreides crest proudly sewn onto the right breast.Â
âDid you sleep well?â She questioned as she laid the dress neatly onto the edge of the bed, urging you to stand once her hands were free.Â
You blinked at her, nervously brushing your hands along the soft cotton of your nightdress. Your voice felt stuck in your throat, but you still managed to lie.Â
âYes, of course.â Your tone was flat, and for once she didnât question you on the reasoning. She knew exactly what had you feeling so uncomfortable in your own home.Â
Gom Jabbar. Gom Jabbar. Gom Jabbar.Â
What exactly did the old woman want from your family? Lady Jessica was a Bene Gesserit, which could only mean that this woman was a higher up, sent to pay you and your brother a visit. You knew nothing about any âcoming of ageâ rituals.Â
Paul barged into the room, dressed in his finer clothes as well. He leaned against the wall of your room, lips pursed as if he was deep in thought. You tilted your head to the side, leveling him a worried glance. He simply shook his head, and you knew at once that he wasnât trying to dismiss your worries.Â
âNot here. Later.â His expression told you, and for once you obeyed.Â
âThe reverend mother is waiting on the both of you. Paul, get out of your sisterâs room so she can get ready.â She commanded, her tone leaving no room for whining or disobedience.Â
He groaned, pushing himself off of the wall so that he could head back out and into the hall. You shrugged out of your dress quickly at the hurried insistence of your mother, allowing her to do up the clasps of the dress for you.Â
âWho is she?â You asked simply, brushing your hair to the side so that she could get a better grasp of the dress.Â
âShe was my teacher at the Bene Gesserit school and now she is the Emperorâs Truthsayer.â Your mother sighed out your name, turning you quickly so that you were facing her. âYou need to do exactly as she says. There is no room to be prideful today, do you understand?â Her eyes were pleading, and you knew that she had your best interests in mind.Â
You and your mother walked wordlessly out into the hall, catching up with your brother who was busy running his fingers along the uneven stone walls. You flashed a quick look at your mother before jogging to catch up with Paul, taking the hem of his sleeve into your hand.Â
âWhat do you know?â You whispered, turning your head so that you could look at your mother. Much to your surprise she seemed to be in no hurry to separate the two of you.Â
âIâve had dreams about her before,â He whispered, and you had to pick up your pace to keep up with his strides. âAnd mother told me this morning that I have to tell her about my visions.âÂ
Your mouth went a bit dry at the realization that this woman truly was here just for you and your brother. What is the Gom Jabbar and what did it entail? There was no telling.Â
âSheâs in my morning room, you two.â She called out after you.Â
Jessica caught up, leveling the both of you a disapproving motherly look that had the two of you slowing your strides to match hers. She seemed a bit hesitant, eyes flickering between you and your brother and the closed door.Â
The âreverend motherâ sat in one of the tapestried chairs, her arms perched on either side of the armrests as she watched the three of you come in. The view behind her was beautiful, the sprawling, green farmlands of the Atreides family holding on full display through the large windows behind her. You glanced at your brother, eyes widening when you realized that he was already looking at you. He bowed in her direction and you followed his lead.Â
âThey are a cautious bundle, arenât they?â The witch-like woman croaked, looking between the two of you.Â
âAs they have been taught, your reverence.âÂ
In this room, here in front of this woman, Jessica was no longer the Dukeâs concubine nor your mother. She was reduced to that of a pupil in the face of her teacher. You kept yourself from fidgeting, clasping your hands in front of you. You fought the urge to reach out and grab your brotherâs hand, as the two of you so often did when faced with anxiety as children. Fear hadnât regressed you to that of a blubbering child in years.Â
Your mother also seemed to fear the woman before her. There was something in her tone that led you to believe that whatever she was here for, it surely wasnât a pleasantry. Your brother was tense at your motherâs other side, jaw tense as he stared the reverend mother down.Â
âTeaching is one thing, but there are some things that cannot simply be taught,â Paulâs eyebrows furrowed as she spoke, and as if she was dismissing a servant of the castle, she waved your mother off with a flick of her wrist. âYou and your daughter leave us. It will be her turn soon.âÂ
For the first time that morning your mother hesitated, eyes softened as she looked upon her son.
âYour reverence, I-â She began, but was cut off before she could finish whatever it is she was going to say. Surely it was meant to be an objection.Â
âJessica, you know that this must be done.â Her voice held a tone of finality. There was no room for your mother to try and wiggle the both of you two out of this trap.
âYes. . . of course.â Your mother straightened, turning towards both of you.Â
âThis test. . . Itâs very important to me, you two.â She spoke in a hushed voice, eyes still fearful.Â
âTest?â The two of you questioned at the same time, looking at one another in concern. You were confused, even more so than you were before.Â
âRemember that youâre the dukeâs son.â And with that your mother was grabbing your arm, pulling you in the direction of the door.Â
âI suppose that it is my turn?â Your voice shook with anger as you practically tore the door off of its hinges, anxious to take your brotherâs place. His cries and whimpers did not go unheard, even with the thick wood separating the two of you.Â
Looking at him now, his right arm still shaking from the pain, was like being slapped across the face.Â
âRight you are, girl. Jessica, please escort your son out of the room.â There was a silvery glint in her bright eyes- a challenge. She could sense it in you.Â
Your mother didnât interrupt this time, and without any words exchanged the door closed. Your brother was too shaken up by whatever had taken place in that room to fully comprehend that the same thing was going to happen to you. He tossed a terrified glance over his shoulder at you just before the heavy doors closed. The sound of it echoed around the room, pulsing in your chest as you tried to steady the adrenaline pumping through your veins.Â
âYour future. . . do you know what is expected of you?âÂ
You eyed the black box that sat next to her as you began closing the distance between the two of you. The question she had asked. . . it was a touchy subject with you. Of course you knew. A day didnât go by that you werenât mortified by the prospect of your future. You only had three short years to live and enjoy before you would be forced to abandon your family to join hands with another one.Â
âOf course I do. It is my duty to marry.â Your voice had a bite to it, your eyes unwavering as you stared her veiled face down.Â
âIt is your duty to marry a Harkonnen. It is an honor to be the only reason that these two great Houses are allies. Your heirs will be powerful beyond comprehension.â The way she spoke. . . she truly believed the shit she was spouting.Â
It was impossible to consider marrying Feyd an honor. It was an ever-present looming threat.Â
âPut your right hand in the box.â She commanded, nodding her head in itâs direction.Â
It seemed harmless enough, nothing more than a metal box. You bent your head ever-so-slightly, trying to have a look inside. It appeared to be a pitch black, endless void. No beginning or end in sight.Â
You did as you were told, biting the inside of your cheek to stop yourself from muttering anything too disrespectful under your breath. If Paulâs screams were anything to go off of then this was going to be painful. Still, you were shocked by how cold the box was. You wiggled your fingers a few times, feeling the metal encasing them. Slowly a tingling sensation began, almost as if they were falling asleep.Â
âYouâve heard of animals chewing off a leg to escape a trap? Thereâs an animal kind of trick. A human would remain in the trap, endure the pain, feigning death that he might kill the trapper and remove a threat to his kind.âÂ
The tingling sensation somehow melded into. . . heat. No, not heat. Burning. It felt as though you had your hand held up to a bright flame. You flinched, but froze when you finally noticed that the reverend mother was holding something against your neck. Your eyes flickered the best that they could to her hand, not wanting to turn your head.Â
âWhat I hold at your neck is the Gom Jabbar. The tip of the needle is dipped in poison. Remove your hand from the box and I will plunge it into your neck.âÂ
The palm of your free hand began to sweat, the gravity of the situation finally landing on your shoulders. You would be forced to endure the pain and there was nothing that anyone outside of the doors could do. No guards had come to protect your brother when it was his turn, and no matter how emotional your mother had gotten whilst hearing his screams she still hadnât rushed in after him. You could truly die here in this room.Â
âWhy are you doing this?â You urged, wincing again as the burning continued to worsen.Â
Now it felt as though you were almost touching a flame, fingers dancing dangerously close. It wasnât just uncomfortable now but painful.Â
âTo determine if youâre human. Now be silent.â
Meant for greatness, yet stifled before her prime.Â
It was impossible for your clipped wings to take flight. The Bene Gesserit had instilled in you your purpose from a very young age, letting it be known that you were little more than cattle to be sold off to breed. The whole arrangement was dehumanizing, but this was the way of galactic high society. Every House had been developed by the close, watchful eye of the Bene Gesserit. Your mere existence was a result of a centuries long breeding program, so how could you ever expect for your own life to be any different?Â
Every child, especially in their naive youth, dreams of greatness. There was a point in time where you had hoped to mean something. There were differences to be made, rules to be broken, wars to be raged- but you would never be at the helm of any of it. But Paul. . . Paul was different.Â
âYou know something that I donât.â You werenât asking Paul, rather telling him what you already knew.Â
Where you were used to your brother pulling no punches, he had been overly cautious with his treatment of you during training today. For a second he just stared ahead blankly at the wall, and you wondered whether he would try to lie. The older youâve gotten, the stranger other peopleâs treatment of you has become. Women were little more than something to be owned. It was a hard lesson to learn and was one you were still grappling with.Â
Your femininity were the chains that bound you. And what of your ambition? It was currently acting as the flames licking at your boot heels. Soon you feared that it would fully engulf you; become your undoing.Â
âTell me.â Your lovely features crumpled, and as childish as it was you found yourself giving his arm a slap.Â
He jumped at the sudden contact, eyes widening as he turned to face you after what felt like an eternity of prolonged silence between the two of you. The hard flooring felt cool beneath your legs as you stretched them out beneath you, and for a second you found it hard to keep yourself up in a sitting position. The world felt unsteady beneath you, both literally and figuratively.Â
Paul didnât have to say anything at all. You looked, you saw, you felt, you understood. Your shared connection had nothing to do with your genes, rather it had to do with your likeness. Two bodies, two minds, but one soul. Your twinâs features crumpled, mirroring that of your own as he pushed a few strands of dark hair away from his face.Â
âSo there is nothing I can do? My fate is sealed.â Your lips felt numb as you spoke.Â
Your brotherâs visions were more frequent than they had ever been before. âHorrorsâ, heâd described them.
âIf there was something I could do. . .â He started, turning quickly to face you, tucking one leg beneath himself. âMy hands are tied. Mother and fatherâs hands are as well.âÂ
Hiding you away or knowingly allowing you to escape your duties would be seen as an act of treason. Youâd be putting your parents and their status in danger, and no matter how desperate you were to get out of any sort of marriage pact, it was far too late. Since the very moment you were conceived, this was what you were meant for.Â
âWhen will the orders come down, you think?â You pulled your legs up to your chest, wrapping your arms around them tightly.Â
You wished that you could stay like this forever, protected from the rest of the world. If only you hadnât been born as twins at all. You wanted so badly to be like Paul.Â
But the galaxy didnât work like that. You were not fortunate enough to get what you wanted.Â
âSoon.âÂ
You felt comforted by the hand that he placed on your shoulder, and even more so when he kept it there until you felt as though you were able to stand up.Â
You were to marry into House Harkonnen. That was your purpose; to unite the feuding houses and birth powerful offspring. You had met Feyd once before, but only for a fleeting moment. It hadnât been awkward- no, back then the two of you hadnât cared enough to pay any mind to the looming threat that was your betrothal. Youâd been too young back then to fully grasp the severity of the situation.Â
You remembered being shocked by his size. He towered over Paul, appearing to be years older than he really was. His hair had been dark back then, thick and slightly curly.Â
He had only just been taken under his uncleâs wing at the time. The environment of Giedi Prime had yet to fully sink into the young boy. The Harkonnenâs looks had always been startling to you, no matter how many times youâd been exposed to it. They were dark creatures, brooding, hairless with skin as pale as milk- not to mention violent.Â
The desperate way that Paul had clung to you was not lost on you. You let him squeeze you as tightly as he needed, your arms locking around his back. This meeting would change everything. In a matter of moments your life as you knew it would be taking a drastic turn, and not for the better.Â
Youâd made that very same trek to the parlor room a million times. This was your ancestral home- had been in your family longer than you thought was conceivable, and yet this felt new to you. Wrong. The shadows from the windows were casting strange lights on the wall beside you, and your footsteps sounded muffled in your ears as your pounding heart nearly deafened you. Your fatherâs hand brushed against your palm a few times, his attempt at showing you physical comfort without causing any sort of scene. You knew that this was Feyd-Rauthaâs right.Â
You were Feyd-Rauthaâs right. That simple fact alone was enough to send you reeling, that morning's breakfast churning in your stomach.Â
âIt will be fine.â Your motherâs fingers shaped the words at her side, a comforting and silent presence.Â
Your parents had always protected you. They had taught you well in all aspects of life. She was right. You had to trust yourself just as much as you trusted them. This will be fine. You will survive.Â
But god, you wanted to live.Â
Your worst fear was being locked up like a caged animal, only taken out to be played with or paraded around. You didnât want to be somebody's little wife; you were no homemaker or bed warmer.Â
âI am better than this.â You thought to yourself, your hands balling into fists at your sides.Â
As the double doors began creeping open, you felt the sudden urge to run the opposite direction, your parents be damned. The feud between House Atreides and House Harkonnen would surely become deadly if you were to turn your back on the promise now, and that was the only thing that steeled your feet. You stood, back straight and hands clasped tightly at your front.Â
You looked to be a pillar of strength, but oh- you were so close to crumbling. Your father took a step past the threshold, eyes hard as he bowed his head respectfully in the Baronâs direction. There was still time to turn around. The door was right there, and you were sure that you could commandeer a ship. Youâd piloted a few times before in your life, and while you werenât the best, you were certain you could get yourself the hell off of Caladan. You shuffled your feet, eyes wide as you looked up and caught your motherâs gaze. Her lips were parted, and you could tell that she was trying to decipher your expression.Â
âWhat are you doing?â Her hand moved quickly at her side, the flowy gauze-like material of her skirts hiding her frantic movements from the visitorâs view.Â
Nothing. You were doing nothing. There were no options yet. If you fled then the insubordination would fall back on your parents. If you downright refused then the outcome would be the same. There was nothing you could do but keep your mouth shut and try not to show the Harkonnen even a semblance of vulnerability.Â
Disdain rolled off of you in waves as you breezed into the parlor, eyes locked on the side of your fatherâs face as he conversed with the baron. Tensions were high, even now. No pleasantries were being exchanged, that you were sure of. The Harkonnenâs stark black attire was a startling contrast to their pale skin. There, in the middle of two other men, whom you were sure were present for reasons of protection, was Feyd.Â
He looked the same as the rest of them. Hairless, blue eyes dripping with something that could only be described as malice. Gone was the curly haired child that you remembered. In his place stood someone unrecognizable to you. You wanted to question what the Baron had done to Feyd, but you already knew. Perfection was expected on Geidi Prime.Â
He had shaped Feyd into the very likeness of perfection. The once dark haired boy was now a walking, talking machine; not even a dead leaf echo of the boy you met all those years ago.Â
You tried to map out every single one of his microexpressions, searching desperately for any sign that he might disapprove of the predicament the both of you had found yourselves in. He tilted his head to the side, observing you with a horrifying level of concentration. The Baron began to speak, saying something that you didnât care enough to listen to. You were too distracted by the terrifying man before you.Â
âShe will come back home to Geidi Prime with us. No objections, correct?âÂ
You were marrying him out of an obligation, this he was already privy to. He had seen the reluctance written plain across your face as youâd entered the room. Youâd wanted to run. Away from him, away from your responsibilities- and he could not blame you for it. His understanding stopped there though, simply because this proposal wasnât going against his own wishes.Â
âThe wedding isnât taking place for another week.â The Duke didnât seem to like the idea of his unwed daughter leaving his side.Â
Feyd fought back a smile, having known that the Baronâs sudden request would have this effect on the Atreides family. He watched you squirm like a bug under a magnifying glass, your hand moving at your hip. For a second he thought that you might be tugging at the seam of your dress, writing it off as nothing but a nervous tick- but then he saw the way your motherâs eyes followed those movements.Â
The two of you were communicating.Â
âThat may be so, however I think that it is only right that your daughter,â Baron Vladimir motioned in your direction. âBecomes better acquainted with Feyd. You donât agree?âÂ
His uncle decided that it was best to test the boundaries of this alliance. He was pushing the Duke, seeing how far he could get. Letoâs lips twitched, his eyes flickering thoughtfully towards you. Feyd was finding it hard to pay attention to anyone else other than you in the room. Heâd spent years imagining what you would look like as an adult- dreamt about it. Heâd eagerly been awaiting this moment, counting the days that he could finally be reunited with you.Â
It wasnât just because he had been promised powerful heirs. It was the thought that someone was fated to marry him. Since before he was even conceived, you had always been promised to him. That idea had been put into his head since childhood. You were the constant topic in his mind, a person that was unavoidably meant to be in his life for the rest of his days.Â
In a strange way he had loved you since he was but a child.Â
Seeing you for that first time had been better than he had anticipated. You were a beautiful little girl, but now? The child that he had met all those years ago did not hold a candle to the grace and brilliance of the woman that stood before him. Nobody else could ever compare. You didnât have to fall for him right now, he was content with that. Hell, you didnât even have to tolerate him.Â
He would find pleasure in wearing you down. He was going to make you love him.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.Â
The adrenaline had run its way out of your system, leaving you cold and alone on a planet that was so incredibly alien to you, you werenât sure how youâd ever be expected to adjust. Even the oxygen felt different in your lungs- the sweet, acrid smell of chemicals tinging the air around you. It was nothing like your home on Caladan. Your home was a stone castle, but this? This was a cold, black fortress.Â
You werenât sure if it was meant to keep people out. . . or in.Â
You thought back to that fateful day with the reverend mother.Â
âYouâve heard of animals chewing off a leg to escape a trap? Thereâs an animal kind of trick. A human would remain in the trap, endure the pain, feigning death that he might kill the trapper and remove a threat to his kind.âÂ
You couldnât chew your leg off to be free of this. No, you had to lay in wait. Only then could you strike if the situation called for it.Â
âStrikingâ could wait until tomorrow though. For now you wanted to rid yourself of the anxiety. Sleep was the only cure you could think of.Â
âIs the room to your liking?â That husky voice of his was already grating on your nerves.Â
Feyd had only attempted to speak to you a few times and already you were sick and tired of his presence. He was a constant reminder that you would never know what it was like to be free. Then again, was anybody in the galaxy truly free? Feyd sure seemed to be carefree in his current position.Â
His tone felt off, like he was toying with you.Â
âI would be far more pleased about my new living quarters if you were to leave.â You said simply, pulling the slate gray blanket up and over your chin.Â
You werenât sure if it was due to his ill-breeding, but he didnât seem to care that you were in nothing but your night dress. He walked into the room in long-legged strikes, letting the door shut behind him. Never before had the two of you been alone together, not since you were children at least. If you were back in your family home you would feel safer during a moment like this.Â
You were in his territory now, meaning he had full reign over everything. Your father and family name couldnât protect you on Geidi Prime.Â
âYouâre in quite the rush to be rid of me,â He didnât falter for even a second as he moved to sit down on the edge of the bed, leaning back against the plush mattress with a small sigh. âIf I didnât know any better, I would think that you didnât like me.â He didnât seem upset at the notion of you disliking him. In fact, there was a glint in his eyes. That same sort of silvery glint youâd seen in the reverend motherâs eyes all those years ago: a challenge.Â
This was nothing but a challenge to him. You were a conquest, and you detested that. Your stomach soured, your face becoming pinched as you glared at him. This was all too much too fast. You were in the comfort of your own home not even four hours ago, and now you were expected to make small talk with the source of your life-long discontent. Â
âAnd what of your concubines? Could you not pester them tonight and give me a moment's peace?âÂ
âI dismissed them from their duties, permanently, weeks ago.â He said simply, his fingers running along the cotton of the comforter.Â
âWhat?â Youâd never heard of such a thing.Â
âSpending time with them would be a waste.â His blue eyes flickered up to meet your eyes. âAcquiring concubines had just been a show of status.âÂ
It took you a few moments to process what he was saying, the burning hatred you had felt just moments ago flickering out into a dull flame.Â
âWhy would spending time with them be a waste? Am I expected to spend that much time with you?â A horror, truly. You had hoped that youâd be able to get away with spending a night or two a week with him, if only to achieve the Bene Gesseritâs goal of siring an heir.Â
âA waste of time. A waste of seed,â He looked at you pointedly, his lip pulling up into a smile that revealed more of his black teeth. âAnd both of those things are important to me.âÂ
Your stomach hollowed out as you were once again reminded of what was expected of you. You had a week to prepare mentally for your wedding night, which you werenât sure was enough.Â
âAnd what happened to the concubines? Are they still being housed here?âÂ
âWhy? Are you jealous?â He was smiling even wider than he was before.Â
A shiver ran through you as you noticed how predatory his body language was- you felt like prey under his haughty gaze. It was hard to believe that Feyd had been administered the Gom Jabbar test and passed.Â
This man was no human. He was an animal, that you were certain.Â
âWickedly.â Your tone was flat and noncommittal. Even now, you never saw Feyd as a potential lover.Â
The man that was your so-called âdestinyâ was also your jailer.Â
âWell then youâll be happy to know that they no longer live here. . . or anywhere, for that matter.â He sat up, rolling his shoulders back to stretch his broad muscles.
The blood drained from your face as you stared up at him from your spot on the bed. He must have felt the weight of your gaze and turned his head, his eyes alight with. . . pleasure. Violence was as ingrained in him as breathing was. It was his life. Standing before you was the prince of death- pale, striking and terrifying.Â
Animal, indeed.Â
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.Â

Feyd would not kneel, nor would he bow. Almost a force of nature, his will was visceral and unrelenting, unpredictable. And yet, without a second thought, he bent his knees before your figure, opened his mouth and put out his tongue, patiently awaiting your spittle to swallow. It was not some manipulation your witch mother had taught you, nor a command he was forced to follow. It was his nature, his own will, the most obscure and buried desire, to receive any vestige or drop of attention you might bestow. He yearns, so he earned.
âOpen it for me, more, yes⊠just like that, pretty boyâ your voice was low and honeyed against his ears. Yes, yes he was your pretty boy, only yours, not his uncle or anyone else, yours and yours only. He opened his mouth wider, tongue sticking out and dripping, dutifully waiting for his reward.
And so, finally tasting your sweet saliva, he swallows. Feyd feels its heat on his tongue, the wet, sweet sensation of your spittle descending his esophagus, the craving and the need to have more and more of whatever you might offer. He dreams of the day he can taste your cunt drool on his tongue. He fantasizes about the moment he would suckle and lick every millimeter of your folds, feeling your body tremble. Perhaps, should he beg enough, you would let him lick your blood. Meanwhile, he is content to swallow your spit and suck your fingers, allowing you to lose yourself in the humid gaze of his blue eyes.
He fluttered his eyelashes at you, his face holding a serious expression that didn't quite match. He was waiting, and you knew it. Silence had a strong hold on you, his impatience growing against his trousers, a growl escaping his mouth.
"Say something!" he barked.
You slapped him instantly and, if he had eyebrows, they would be furrowed. His pale skin began to grow reddish, black teeth smiling back at you, a small bloody cut on his lips.
"How do you say it, Na-Baron?" Your foot met his bulging trousers, stomping down hard as you reveled in the sight of him biting his lip until he drew more and more blood.

summary: Feydâs wife was always branded as a dreamer, content to spend a day in her books. but her husband would always entertain her dreams, especially when they save her life /or/ basically the request || warnings: violence, haters gonna hate, death, blood || word count: 1658 || masterlist
REQUEST: Iâve always wondered how Feyd Rautha would handle having a wife like Helaena who speaks in riddles and flinches at loud noises and violence. Maybe an Atreides daughter theyâre supposed to create the Kwisatz Haderach with? In a Universe where Jessica stayed loyal to the bene Gesserit. Iâd love to know how someone like Feyd would react to her telling him heâs scared the way Helaena does to Aegon in hotd. Maybe heâd have very little patience for her but I could also see him bonding with someone like that. Also I think that someone with Helaenaâs ability to retreat inside her own mind would be able to survive on Giedi Prime.
Your fate had been set in stone since your very conception, meant to mend the relationship between two houses that had been at war for centuries and bring forward the greatest mind the universe had ever seen. Jessica had trained you in the Bene Gesserit way since you were young, always believing that your bloodline would be famed for generations after.
But you didnât want to be famed or revered or feared. You wanted nothing more than to be loved, completely loved. When you learned of your betrothed, there was a sadness that overtook you, an accepting that your husband may never truly love you. He was famed for his cruelty, his majesty in the arena and his fighting prowess. He was not known for his ventless and his love, no Harkonnen ever had been.
The first time you met eyes with your future husband, there was a silent understanding that passed between you two. He was a young boy, barely older than you and yet he looked as though he had the weight of the world on his shoulders. Perhaps there could be a connection between you two, despite your afflictions.
Your father called it dreaming, ignoring whatever technical explanation your mother held. There were things you saw that no sane man could explain and yet they were always true. They came to you in the silent moments of the day, when you read or sketched. You had loved it growing up, seeing glimpses of things yet to come but as you grew, they only ever turned darker.
The diplomatic visit to Geidi Prime was short and yet long enough for you to spend a few hours alone with Feyd. There was an itching under your skin from being on the planet, a discomfort that lingered as you pushed down any dreams that threatened to reveal themselves.
You sat across from Feyd, your hands twisting in your lap.
âWhat do you like to do?â His voice was soft, always soft when he was with you but the sterness returned the moment someone else entered the room.
You wondered if someone had shared your condition with him. âI read. I draw.â Around him, you didn't feel the necessity to boast of your suitable talents your parents had raised you on. The itching had ceased, even if it was just for a moment. âYou?â
âI fight- I'm good at fighting.â He corrected himself. For a moment it seemed like he was done talking, but then he met your gaze and continued. âI don't have much to time to do things I like.â
âPerhaps when we are wed, you will have time to explore things you enjoy.â You meant nothing by it, only that you hoped your husband could find a hobby not controlled or pushed onto him by his Uncle.
Feyd smiled in response and you got the distinct feeling that everything would be alright if you married him. But you could not marry him without guilt unless you told him yourself what you were.
âI dream.â You say, unsure of how to tell him.
Feyd was slightly amused, âYou dream? Iâm sure many do.â
âNo.â You quickly reply. âI see things, visions almost. They are never truly clear, only glimpses of the future.â
âAh.â
âI didnât want you to marry me if you didnât know. I only hope you understand and do not judge me for something beyond my control.â
Feydâs expression softened as he took stock of the panicked breaking out of your being. âThen you have nothing to worry about.â
The hopefulness in your eyes glistened as you stood, offering Feyd a small bow before leaving the room and returning to your mother and father.
When your day of union arrived, it was a rather happy occasion. Your family smiled as you stayed by Feydâs side, your hand twisted with his. There was a soft and genuine look of almost-love everytime he looked at you. All that look needed was time to evolve into true love that would pull him under without hesitation. Feyd would let himself be taken by everything you are and he would even beg for it. Your mother and father could see the affection you already shared and knew nothing would come between you.
The Baron, on the other hand, had indifference covering his face all day. This was not a joyous occasion, but a simple ceremony that had to be done in order to end the conflict he wanted to continue. However, this union would bring him more power than war would, and he would just have to accept that.
Feyd reached for two glasses and passed one to you, raising his in a toast. âTo the rest of our lives?â
âTo the rest of our lives.â You agreed, clinking your glass with his and taking a drink.
Once you had placed your glass back down, Feyd leant forward to capture your lips, letting his heart float like only you could make him. Your marriage was nothing more than picturesque. There was finally peace felt throughout the universe and yet there were some who were still not happy.
The Emperor, despite suggesting the match to weaken the houses and cause friction, watched as they came together in love and only grew stronger. The Atreides were a threat to his reign long before, but with the Harkonnens now as allies, there was nothing that could stop them if they desired his throne.
The final straw came when news of an heir flowed throughout the Imperium. The Atreides and Harkonnens would soon have an heir that would bind them with blood, for eternity.
Your husband had been even more protective of you since the beginning of your pregnancy, barely wanting to leave you alone. The dreams had shown you your daughter, a beautiful girl that was the mix of both you and Feyd. But there was one persistent dream that shook you to your core.
âFeyd?â
âYes my love?â The nickname had never stopped, ever since the wedding.
âI'm afriad.â
Feyd's face flashed with confusion for a moment as his eyes darted around the room. âWhat are you afraid of my love? Our families are united, no one would dare stand against Harkonnens and Atreides united. The babe is well, she is growing stronger by the day.â
âThere are snakes crawling through the city.â Your voice is a whisper, trembling with every word. You werenât really aware of what your words meant, only repeating what your mind brought forward.
Feyd smiled at his wifeâs words. âThere are no snakes on Geidi Prime, my love. They cannot survive here.â He takes a seat next to you, pulling you closer to him as if to protect you.
âThey will worm their way to our palace.â
âThen I will double our guard and order lockdown at the slightest threat.â He said it with such conviction that you were almost convinced.
âBut-â
âWhat have I said?â Feyd asked you. âI would never let anything hurt you or our children. There is nothing that can get into our palace unless I will it.â
You let the dream sit in the back of your mind, pushing it away from thought but not forgetting. And it did you well not to forget when you couldnât sleep one night and a echoing crash startled you. No one else awoke and you took the risk to glance outside your room, where your guards stood to attention.
âIs everything alright Na-Baroness?â
You forced a smile. âAll is fine. Just⊠stay alert.â With nothing else to say, you turn and return to your bed.
Feyd was not disturbed but you found yourself reaching under his pillow to touch the knife he always kept there. It was a reassuring reminder that if your dream came true tonight, there was something Feyd could do. You lay, the blank ceiling taunting you and your ears hearing every footstep and breath people made.
It was only as you had begun drifting back to sleep that a muffled shout came from the hallway and your heart stuttered. You reached over, shaking Feyd awake as he quickly looked around before settling his eyes on your own frantic ones.
âWhatâs going on?â
Your breath trembled once more. âThe snakes are here.â
At your words, Feyd reached for the knife and practically jumped out of bed, directing you to the corner of the room furthest from the door, furthest from harm. The thump of a body was heard and Feyd tightened his grip, activating his shield.
Two men, Imperial soldiers burst through the door and you caught sight of the bodies of two others as well as your guards. Terror gripped you, a hatred of blood instilled in you since you were a young girl. Your hand flew to your mouth as you shrunk into the corner even more, wishing the floor would swallow you up.
Feyd leapt forward, his body practised in fighting people at a moments notice. His knife carved flesh, splattering blood over the room. A small scream escaped your lips as the bodies crashed to the floor and your husband stood in the centre of your room, blood dripping from the knife still in his hand.
He turned to face you, throwing the knife across the room and rushing towards you. You practically threw yourself into his arms and he squeezed you close to his chest and rested his head on yours.
âYouâre okay.â He said, letting you feel his steady heartbeat against your rapid one. âThe snakes are gone.â
âThe snakes-?â
âTheyâre gone. Weâre okay.â He pulled away just enough to take your hand and pull it down to your stomach. âSheâs okay, youâre okay. We are all okay. No one can hurt you.â
You let your panic settle and relax into his arms. Everyoneâs alive. You can manage whatever comes next, you can let the snakes try but they will never be able to bite you.
Synopsis: The Water of Life opened Paul Atreides' mind. He could suddenly see every possible future that he used to dream of, but there was only one path that led to a greener future for Arrakis and for the universe. A very narrow golden path. And it all started with you.
Starring: Timothee Chalamet as "Paul Atreides"
Form: Written
Genre: I wish I could tell you.
âïžSunny says: she is supposed to be studying. I finally watched both the Dune movies and I have been ITCHING to write this. Please don't mind me, this is just a little something-something to quell the worms gnawing at my brain.
Paul had always dreamt.
At night, when he closed his eyes, he had seen it all. Arrakis in his palm. The empire bowing at his feet. The Fremen following behind himâ all mostly oblivious to the way his fist was beginning to tighten around their belief, squeezing off any chance of mutiny that would challenge his place as the Messiah.
And sure, not every dream he had would come to fruition the way he had once thought itâJamis was one example of that. The duel and the warrior's death was proof enough for Paul to know that his dreams only showed him possibilities of the future. Different strands he had to meticulously untangle in order to find the right one, the right string of events to cling onto so that everything would fall into place in the best way possible.
Not all of his dreams happened in real life the way they did in his mind, but this one...he had to make sure that he gave fate no choice but to bend to his will.
You had nearly caught him off guard.
When he had stepped forward to challenge the Emperor, a flash of Arrakis sun had reflected off of a silver link in Princess Irulan's headdress. With a warrior's instinct, his hardened gaze had flitted over to the source, landing on the extravagantly elegant princess who very pointedly avoided his gaze out of fear.
In his dreams, he had seen her. He had seen a future where he led the empire into prosperity with her by his side. There was a golden pathâa very narrow one leading to a brighter futureâand marrying Princess Irulan was one of the only ways to secure that future for himself and his people. Paul had accepted that as one of his many responsibilities.
But when his gaze had very briefly landed on you, it was like he had seen a mirage. Like the merciless sun had played a trick on him and shown him an oasis of impossibility. He blinked his azure eyes back into focus and realised you weren't just a trick of the lightâweren't just his mind trying to pull one over on him in one of the most important moments of his family's entire legacy.
You were real.
Standing amongst the bleak Harkonnen, you were a vivid splash of colour. You were a beacon of light amidst their darkness.
He had assumed you would be Fremen. In his dreams, when you softly smiled up at him, you had the eyes of Ibad. Blue like Chani and Stilgar, but so much more vibrant. And beautifulâso beautiful. Beautiful enough to stop his heart and start it all over again. You would always looks at him like he truly was a hero predestined to save the universe. You would always smile at him with his hand clasped tightly in yours. You would always promise to stand beside him through both peace and violence.
"Mahdi, just as this destiny has always been yours, as have I."
The you in his dreams was much more different than the you that stood a few paces away from him in this moment.
Your hair was still the colour of the salt flats in the southern regions of Arrakisâunusually stark white. Instead of the bright halo he knew you to have, your hair was braided down and tied back with a black band to keep it away from your perfect face. Your sense of freedom had been lost among the brutality of Giedi Primeâoppressed for the sake of your own safety, Paul assumed.
The edges of your features were sharper than he had dreamedânot gaunt, but sculptedâand he briefly wondered whether you were an unfortunate Fremen married off to a Harkonnen savage. That would explain your cobalt irises contrasting against your black robes. Despite everything, your skin still glowed bright with life against the raven material. It was almost like there were gemstones embedded within the pores of your rich brown skin with the way the sun glittered across it.
You were a dream come to life.
Reluctantly, he settled his gaze back onto Emperor Shaddam.
"You have to answer for my father."
Almost immediately, the Emperor shot back, his whisper as sharp as a dagger. "Do you know why I killed him?" He didn't give Paul a chance to retort, taking a few steps towards the young messiah. "Because he was a man who believed in the rules of the heart. But the heart is not meant to rule."
Paul could hear his own heart thumping in his ears. His teeth grinded harshly against each other as he struggled to not unsheath his blade and plunge it through the emperor's throat.
"In other words..." Shaddam scowled slightly. "Your father was a weak man."
Silence filled the air. The last living Atreides glared down at the traitorous Emperor for a long, quiet moment. For just a second, he looked past Shaddam and saw you again.
You were watching with bated breath just like everyone else, but the pinch in between your brows indicated a much deeper concern. Paul wished he could see into your mind and page through all of your worries, all of your memories, all of your history. But he couldn't become distracted now.
He glanced back at the coward in front of him. "Stand. Or choose your champion."
When Feyd-Rautha took a fearless step forward, Paul realised something that made his blood boil just a bit more than it already had been.
The way you parted your lips to speak up, but pursed them to stop yourself. The way your hand reached out to Feyd slightly, but curled into a fist at your side when he stepped just too far out of reach. The way your cerulean eyes stayed fixed on the Harkonnen na-Baron with a sort of silent despair told Paul everything he needed to know.
"I'm here, Atreides." The Harkonnen heir stared dead into his eyes, his lip very slightly curled at the corner. "I need a blade."
"Accept mine." And once again, the Emperor formed an alliance with a Harkonnen to take down the House of Atreides.
As he prepared for the duel, Paul kept glancing in your direction almost against his own will. He watched with a clench in his jaw while you pulled at Feyd's sleeve and admonished him in a hiss of whispers.
The heir apparent only chuckled in typically smug fashion. He raised a hand to brush your cheek and you turned your face away to reject the action. Then he carelessly clutched your jaw in one hand, fingers squeezing so hard you winced in his grasp, and Paul felt his stomach turn multiple times over. Feyd loomed over you, pressing his forehead against yours, and whispered something that hardened the concern within your eyes. Your handsâPaul remembered them to be soft and gentleâfuriously pried Feyd's fingers off of your scowling face. You continued to glare at him even as he accepted the emperor's blade. You burned a hole through the back of his head even as he met Paul in the middle of the makeshift battlefield.
Paul smiled to himself at the contempt in your expression. It was a sick feeling reallyâwhy did it make him feel lighter knowing that you were so very upset with the na-Baron?
You were either his concubine or his promised bride, but either way, it wasn't willingly. And something built on such a fragile foundation was always prone to shattering easily.
He had to kill Feyd-Rautha. For the empire, for his father's legacy, for you.
Paul raised his chin and held his dagger above his forehead. "May thy knife chip and shatter."
Feyd gave him an amused smile, and Paul almost thought his cousin was going to laugh. Instead his pale counterpart nodded his head slightly. "May thy knife chip and shatter."
And then he lunged.
Paul couldn't help it.
Regardless of how close he came to an untimely demise with every swing of Feyd's dagger, he still found his gaze drifting off to watch your every reaction to the duel. Which was definitely how the na-Baron had gotten ahead of his defences and plunged his very own knife into the duke's side.
It was an unexpected hit that had all the Fremen gasping. Their otherworldly messiah receiving a near fatal blow in a battle that would decide the fate of the entire empire would have anyone feeling anxious. Despite all of that, Paul could only focus on you.
While his breathing became shallow, his line of sight caught on you. And the way you gasped and bit at your lower lip to prevent any other sound from slipping past nearly made him smile through the excruciating pain.
Feyd shoved him back to the edge of the makeshift battlefield, the crysknife still lodge deep in Paul's side. The Harkonnen tilted his head to the side the way a viper would when stalking its prey. "You keep looking at my pet, cousin."
Paul grinded down on his molars. Feyd grinned, his mouth parted wide to reveal his black teeth. "It's alright. I'll grant you the most beautiful view while I tear your dying breath out of you."
They met in the middle once again and Feyd immediately had the emperor's blade pointed right above Paul's heart, dangerously close to ending the prophecy before it even began.
Paul glared straight up at his cousin as he held the blade away in his palm. The edges tore through his glove, slicing into his palm.
Everyone held their breath as the messiah held back the brute for dear life.
In the corner of his eye, Paul could see you clutching the dainty necklace hanging off your collarbones, muttering anxiously to yourself as you watched. You blinked, and for a little more than a second your eyes rolled back to reveal the whites, and something clicked in Paul's mind.
When your precious blues rolled down again and you sighed to yourself almost in resignation, he knew what he had to do.
Using Feyd's own force, he pulled the Harkonnen closer, allowing Emperor Shaddam's blade to sink in.
It was like the air was completely sucked out of the room.
A shocked hush fell over the Fremen.
The Harkonnen snarled in premature exhilaration.
The Emperor's people watched on in unsure anticipation.
Then Paul pulled Feyd even closer and the sound of a bone cracking ruptured the quiet all around the two fighters. The Harkonnen held Paul's cheek with an almost gentle caress. His voice was a raspy whisper. "You fought well, Atreides..."
Raven blood seeped past his lips, his grip loosened on Paul, who pulled the very same crysknife that was in his own side just moments prior out of Feyd's chest. The Harkonnen fell to the floor with a sickening thud.
You gripped your necklace, pinching your eyes closed as if you had expected this very outcome but it still stung to see it play out in real time.
The Emperor was frozen in shock.
The Fremen cheered out in a chorus of cheers.
Paul pulled the emperor's dagger out of his shoulder, and then walked past Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen's corpse, approaching Shaddam with a steely look in his blue-stained eyes. He dropped the dagger at the dethroned man's feet.
Princess Irulan took a step forward and held an arm out in front of her father, shielding him from the remaining Atreides. "The life debt has been paid! Spare my father and I will be your willing bride."
Paul tilted his head, he could hear his mother's voice in the corners of his mindâcould hear her urging him to take the princess as his prize, take the Corrino name as a stepping stool to gaining power over the entire empire.
But Paul had just defeated Shaddam's champion. Therefore Paul would take the title of Emperor regardless of who he took as his bride.
A golden path.
A very narrow way through.
He raised his hand, glove bloody and torn, and pointed straight past the Princess. Everyone gasped again, following with their eyes until all the eyes in the room were on you.
You probably felt like a bug under the Arrakis sun.
"I will take her as my empress." Paul could feel his motherâpardon, the Reverend Motherâtrying to worm her way through into his mind, trying to warn him of the possible consequences of going against the plan her and his unborn sister had so meticulously put in motion for him. He snarled slightly, warding her out of his head.
Focusing on you, he raised a brow expectantly. The remaining Harkonnen servants cowered behind you, even going so far as to push you a few steps forward. It seemed the murders of their Baron and his heirs had left them with little hope and a lot of fear for the Fremen Messiah.
You stumbled forward, the force forcing you right past Princess Irulan with an unintended shove. The blonde royal looked up at you with very evident confusion on her face. Her father seemed more relieved with the sudden shift, taking the opportunity to pull his daughter closer into his side and further away from the vengeful Atreides heir.
Paul had seen the path that would lead to a greater future for all, and it started with you by his side. He held his hand out, his bloody palm facing up. It was an almost peaceful gesture if one overlooked the context that led up to this moment. Who would think to reject the Messiah, the Otherworldy Voice, the people's saviour?
There was no real choice in the situation.
Paul waited patiently, admiring the way the Arrakis horizon shone across your bronze skin. "Well?"
It wasn't really a question of whether you accepted his offer. It was more a question of when you would accept it.
Your eyes flickered from his hand to his face, your chest heaving with shallow breaths. This wasn't meant to happen. It was written all over your face.
"No."
Most of the Fremen gasped, while others cursed in chakobsa.
The Harkonnen servants meekly clutched at your robes, their faces scrunched up in panic. "My lady!" One screeched. "Mistress, please!" Another begged. "You have to!" Yet another exclaimed.
You pried their hands off of you, taking as much a step away from them as you could without being any closer to Paul Atreides.
How dare you reject Muad'dib's merciful offering?
It was clear that everyone was thinking a similar variation of the same question.
Despite the rejection, Paul still smiled at you. That was the first time he had heard your voice in real life. It was exactly as he had remembered from his dreamsâmaybe a bit more terse in tone, but still soft and angelic as in his mind. He smiled because he loved your voice. And he smiled because he had his voice.
"Come to me."
You immediately took a step forward, complying as everyone usually did when commanded to by the Voice. Then you took another, and Paul's smile dropped slowly.
A body commanded by the Voice usually moved quicker than this. You...
You seemed to be fighting it.
Your fingers shook at your sides, your breathing became more shallow, and your eyes...
You had to be a Mentat with the way your bright blue eyes kept rolling back to show the whites, then rolled forward, then back again, then forward again, and then back again.
Your logical mind was fighting Paul's command.
He had never seen that before.
No one could combat a Bene Gesserit using the Voice. No one should be able to combat the Messiah using the Voice.
The Fremen murmured in bewilderment while the former Emperor's people watched on in horror. Paul could feel his mother trying to breach past his mind's walls once more.
You took another step forward, then you let out a shaky breath and pinched your eyes shut. Your white lashes brushed over the apples off your cheeks as a war waged in your own mind.
Then you took a step back, breaking from the command.
The Fremen muttered in tongues, looking between their saviour and this abomination of a woman in astonishment.
Princess Irulan would have lunged forward to steady your shaking form had it not been for her father holding her back. Instead, she called out to you in a fragile voice. "Lady Hawat!"
Your eyes fluttered open, blue irises flickering around in a panic. You were just regaining your right mind, probably wondering what you had done under the new Emperor's influence.
Paul expelled a breath, dropping his hand to his side. This all made a lot of sense. "Lady Hawat." He said lowly, testing the title and name on his tongue. He'd never said it before, not even in his dreams. But... "Are you familiar with the late Thufir Hawat?"
You bit your bottom lipâa habit that Paul came to realise you used to stop yourself from bursting at the seams. You took another step away from him for good measureâor to taunt his fruitless command, he wasn't sure.
"Who?"
You knew him.
The way you scowled and your pale brows drew together gave it away. He could sense the loathing simmering just beneath your skin at the mere mention of the Mentat who had served the Atreides family for three generations of dukes.
"He was your father, wasn't he?"
Far behind Paul, Halleck Gurney's eyebrows furrowed together in a dawning realisation. The resemblance was rather uncanny now that he considered it. The salt-pale hair and the freckles scattered over your cheeks and shoulders were a testament on their own, your pale blue eyes were the only true phenotypical difference.
Those same eyes looked Paul up and down with poorly disguised distaste. "That man has been dead to me since he abandoned me and my mother."
"And yet you inherited all of his traits."
"I must have inherited his uncanny ability to disappoint, because I still refuse your offer, Padishah." Your jaw ticked. So did Paul's. The room felt colder somehow.
Perhaps the first time around was a fluke, so he tried again. With a distorted voice, he commanded once more. "Come to me, my empress."
Your lashes fluttered once more, but this time, your movements were much faster. One foot after the other, you walked straight towards him. The corner of his lip quirked up in self-satisfaction.
When just a step away from him, your eyes did that thing again where they rolled back and forth and back and forth. You suddenly bent down and picked up Shaddam's fallen blade and swung your arm up at Paul with no warning at all. He quickly drew his head back, narrowly avoiding the tip of the blade.
The bridge of his nose was nicked, a thin trail of blood trickling down the arch.
The Fremen clasped at each other in fright. Stilgar muttered strings of prayers under his breath. Gurney tilted his head slightly, watching you intently.
You regained control of your own body again and gripped the hilt more firmly. Then you swung again.
And it was yet another duel that the Messiah had to fight.
You were more skilled than Paul would have thought to give you credit for. You had been many things in his dreamsâa ray of hope, his loving wife, the mother to his offspringâbut not a warrior. Yet, here you were, swinging at him with the force of a veteran fighter.
He ducked and dodged despite Lady Jessica's voice ringing around in his head to show her no mercy and give her to the desert. He wouldn't hurt you, couldn't even if he wanted to. He needed you alive in order for everything to fall into place.
One swing to the left, an elbow to his head using the same momentum, a punch to his already wounded nose. He blocked each attempt. When he trapped each of your wrists in his hands, the dagger clattered to the floor, and the only sound in the room was your exhausted panting.
He pulled you close until your hands were trapped between your chests. He leaned in until he could nudge his nose against your cheek, smearing his own blood against your freckled skin. His voice was low when he spoke again. "Be mine."
Your eyes rolled back and forth, pretty blues turning white and then blue again. The closer he looked, he realised even your sclera was tinted azure. You simply had to be Fremen...
"No." Your response was guttural and final, echoing throughout the whole room.
Paul sighed. He really wanted to have your hand willingly. He wanted you to feel safer with him than you probably had with Feyd-Rautha. But Paul Atreides was also a Harkonnen at the end of the day.
"Take her."
A few Fremen soldiers immediately came forward and pried you away from him, their grips tight around your arms and back. You struggled, obviously. But the men overpowered you despite your squirming.
Paul looked at you for one last time when Gurney stepped forward and whispered in his ear. "The Great Houses refuse to acknowledge your ascendancy to the throne."
So many obstacles. One path.
He sighed, resigned to his fate.
"Lead them to paradise."

Shut up and listen, Robb Stark x Bene Gesserite reader
Summary: House Parosi was an unknown house. One that stood side by side with the power and strength of the Starks, but not the popularity, was where you came from. Your house had managed to stay out of trouble for generations, but what happens when the King of the North and his men appear on your doorstep, telling you and your brother of the upcoming war and asking for the help of your house house.
Two figures stood outside a castle, one female and one male. While they stood, horses rode up to their gates, their hooves clobbering on the stone paths with each heavy step, and on their backs, many men, their faces serious and their postures alert, it was as if they were waiting for something to jump out of hiding and attack them.
Y/n didnât seem to care though, her eyes trained on what looked like the leader of the group. She couldnât help but raise her brow as the men came more into view,
âBrother, that red haired one is quite handsomeâ She said whispered, looking over to her brother as to take in his expression. Nolan glanced over at the red head, silently taking in the appearance and body language of said man,
His face remained expressionless, it took a full five seconds before he even responded back, âDo you want him?â He asked stoically, his eyes now also trained on the red haired rider who was getting even closer to the threshold of their castle walls,
âHmmmmâ she hummed, âWe can see about thatâ As soon as those words left her mouth, the entourage arrived, dozens of horses filling through the gate, all following one man. The one she had set her eyes on.
âNot only handsomeâŠbut he commanding as well, I like this oneâ she thought to herself a smile on her face as she watched him get off his horse, some of his men following in his stead while some kept on their horses,
âMy lord, my lady, it is an honor to meet youâ He said, his eyes assessing the two siblings infront of him,
âMy name is RobbâŠ.Robb Starkâ The two looked at him, taking in his introduction as a moment of silence washed over them as they stood there, the two not yet responding to anything he had said,
The woman then looked over at her brother, then looked at the man in front of her, then back to her brother, it was as if they were having a conversation in their minds,
Robb stood there confused, momentarily looking back at his men who had started to dismount from their horses, the odd behavior of the siblings drawing their suspicions,
A smile suddenly grew on the womanâs face as her brother gave her a nod, and before Robb could blink, she had already began walking closer towards him.
Instinctively, Robb and his men brought their hands to the hilt of their swords, their eyes trailing her as she now stood infront of the young wolf,
Her eyes looked him up and down before an even bigger smile appeared on her face. YesâŠshe definitely liked what she saw. âIâd like to welcome you to our estateâ she said softly, her eyes finding his as she held eye contact,
âMy name is Y/N,â Robb heard her say, his eyes trained on her beautiful ones as she introduced herself, âAnd that over there is my brotherâŠNolan,â Robb looked over at the man, his mysterious aura and quiet stature capturing the attention of both him and his men,
While they trained their eyes on him, Nolan kept a close eye on y/n. Silent and authoritative, as if he was anticipating that something would happen, or maybe something that she would do.
âDo not mind him, heâs a bit shy when it comes to guestsâ Y/N joked, taking the opportunity to glance behind Robbâs back and taking a look at his men, then looking back at Robb,
âIt is quite cold out my lord, would you like to continue inside?â She asked, her head nodded as she said those words, she liked how far she had gotten with this conversation, it wasnât everyday that she got to talk to anyone outside of her brother and the maids of their manors, but with the maids it was slightly awkward, so for this she was very glad.
âWeâd greatly appreciate that my lady,â Robb said quickly, his mind steadfast on remembering the reason as to why he was here, and he was glad for the lack of unnecessary small talk,
Looking back to his men, he motioned for them to follow, then as soon as he turned back around, she was already walking away, the jewelry around the waist of her dress making soft chiming sounds with each step, a peculiarity that Robb noticed,
This was definitely an odd family, that was what was going through Robbâs head as he and his men followed behind the women and her brother, their beings not at all affected nor concerned about the fact that a whole militia stood just outside their castle walls, and nor were they the least bit hesitant to let them inside their homes,
This was too good to be true, there has to be something going on here.
A couple minutes later:
They all had arrived in what looked like a council room, and the room was quite a sight indeed, with paintings on the walls, a tall statue in the back corner, and a blue hue shadowing the room from the stained glass windows that was embalmed with the houses sigil, the room looked like the embodiment of elegance and beauty.
âTake a seatâ Nolan finally spoke up, walking over to the seat at the head of the table, y/n walking over to the corner as he did so.
Robb, who hasnât heard the manâs voice since his arrival didnât really expect the sound, his eyes now fixed on the expressionless Nolan as he found a seat at the other head of the table, his generals and soldiers finding seats wherever they wanted at the table, some left standing as there wasnât enough seats for everyone.
âSoâŠmay I ask the nature of this visit, it is not very frequent people find themselves on our landsâ Nolan asked, his eyes locked in on Robb. Robb wasted no time, his hands now on the table as he began talking,
âThere is a war comingâ both siblings raised their brow at this, âMy father, the Lord Eddard Stark of Winterfell⊠was wrongly executed,â The room instantly grew stark cold at those words, a moment of silence passing.
Y/N slowly began walking over to where her brother was seated, now standing against the wall right behind his chair, her arms folded as she listened to him continue on.
âAnd the people who has done this now have my sisterâs hostage,â Robb could feel himself getting agitated as he uttered those words, the verbal reminder that his sisters were right in the enemyâs palms paining him deep inside, not just as a leader, but as their elder brother,
But he had to quickly remind himself that he was on a mission, he needed the men, and he needed the help for what he was about to do.
âWe plan to marching on Kingslanding and take the head of that Bastard of a king,â Robb said, staring right into Nolanâs eyes as he said those words.
âBut to do thatâŠIâm going to need more menâ immediately, a switch went off in Y/Nâs head, she knew where this was leading to.
âSo thatâs why heâs hereâ the girl thought to herself, pushing herself off the wall as she walked next to where her brother was seated, a hand on the top of the chair as she continued to listen closely,
âIâve come to ask for your aid in this missionâ Y/N looked down at her brother as Robb said this, watching as everything began to click in his head. âYou want my men?â Nolan asked, his fingers tapping on the arm rest as he listened for an answer.
âIt would benefit us greatly to have as much soldiers and troops as possible,â Robb stated, looking over at his generals as they nodded along with his words.
The young wolf then look back at Nolan, who was looking up at his sister, another silent conversation at play as the two staring at each other for a good five seconds before looking back at Robb,
âYes, it would benefit you to have as much man as possible,â Robb let out a breathe at those words, feeling as though he had finally reached somewhere,
âBut why should I help youâ
The room instantly went silent at Nolanâs words, the men all looking at Robb as they awaited his response. Before he could talk again, the only lady in the room spoke up.
âThough we understand why you need to do this, why should we sacrifice our men for your own personal goalsâ Y/N said, now drawing attention to herself, all eyes now on her. She didnât care much for the stares, she had to get her point across to the men in the room.
âOur men are very precious to us, every life both in and out of our walls are valuable,..so why should we give them to you.â Nolan added, both siblings now looking at Robb as they awaited his rebuttal.
âThere is now a tyrant on the Iron Throneâ Robb stated, a focused look on his face as he continued speaking, âWhat do you think he will do to the houses of the north now that heâs killed one of the most powerful lords of the Northern regionâ The men in the room began to make sounds of approval,
Y/N was getting his tactic, âAnd say me and my men march on Kings-landing and win...what should we do to you, knowing that you rejected our proclamation of aidâ Now everyone was looking at the two siblings.
They all knew what Robb meant by that, he was indirectly telling them that if they did not help, their house would be torn down either way, and to anyone, just that thought alone would have them scared out of their wits,
Itâs a good thing that they werenât just anyone, and boy were the men in the room about to realize this.
âKhala-kithan khor-ka i-tash-they threaten us brotherâ The woman stated, her eyes now sharp as she looked straight ahead at Robb, then back at at her brother âI knowâ Nolan repeated, not caring for the puzzled glances being thrown their way,
âIf I didnât know any better, Iâd think you were threatening usâ Nolan stated, leaning back in his seat as he took in everyone in the room, assessing their looks, builds, and auras. âThat dependsâ Robb says, tapping his fingers against the table,
âOn what,â Nolan replied, now turning his gaze back on Robb, his brow raising in curiosity at the determined look on Robbâs face,
âDo you know betterâ Another wave of silence hit the room, everyone in the room anticipating the response of the lord sitting at the end of the table, though, it wasnât one they were expecting.
Nolan shook his head at that answer, taking a few seconds before leaning on the side of the chair with a hand covering his mouth as he looked over at where his sister once stood, his eyes assessing her.
âYou have about five secondsâ Nolan said, grabbing the glass of water from the table as he waited for everything to unfold, âWhat?â Robb said, him and his men tensing up at the foreboding words,
âYou come into OUR house, and you dare threaten usâEveryoneâs, except for Nolanâs gaze snapped to the lady, watching as she slowly began to walk towards Robb, an unknown look in her eyes,
âbe calm sister, he doesnât know betterâ Nolan mumbled out, noticing the tension in the room as his sister brought herself closer and closer to where Robb sat, though she didnât take heed to his words,
âHe will learnâ As soon as she said those words, everyone in the room stood up, drawing their swords as she now stood in-front of the still sitting Robb,
She tilted her head at this, they came into HER house, demanded men from her house, threatened Nolan when he refused, and now they draw a sword to her, they were as brazen as they were foolish.
âTell your men to lower their swordsâ She said to Robb, now standing mere inches away from him. Robb stood up, his taller frame towering over here as he stood there, an aura of authority surrounding him,
âYouâd do best to listen to herâ Nolan stated, still seated and not at all affected by the tension in the room it seems, though Robb felt that was odd to him, if it were his sister in a position like this heâd be more on the edge than it seems like Nolan was,
âOr not itâs really up to youâ The woman joked, once again looking Robb up and down now that they were in such close proximity. âMy men will do no such thingâ he said,
âstubborn boyâ Nolan mumbled, though it seems to be loud enough for everyone in the room to hear, and it seems like they had quite a few thoughts about his choice of words,
âOur leader is no BOYâ one man said, the others around him making sounds of agreement, their swords drawn as they readied themselves to protect the honor of their leader,
âHe is the King of the Northâ another soldier said, the room now getting even more rowdy, the men that stood in the corners now itching closer and closer,
âTell then to calm down or there will be consequencesâ The woman said, sensing the vibe of the room and knowing that the men were riled up, âI take no orders from you,â the young wolf said, his eyes staring down into hers, âor any other manâ his gaze went over to the still seated Nolan as he said that, the man in question raising his arms in mock surrender at the stare,
âOk then, so be itâ She said, looking over at the battle hungry men behind Robb, their postures ready to strike at any moment, âI did try to warn youâ Robb heard Nolan say, the calmness in his voice unsettling Robb to the core, but before he could react, his body went stiff,
âSIT DOWNâ An force suddenly overtook everyone in the room, their eyes widening as their heart began to beat fast, the lack of control of their bodies causing panic to start to rise in them,
âYou come into our house and dare to draw arms against usâ She said, along with what sounded like multiple other voices, âI should slice your neck open right nowâ the voices said, her hand grabbing his hair and tugging his head back,
Everyone sat silently as this all happened, their bodies immobile and unable to even an inch as they watched the woman do as she pleased. âTell me..Robb, one reason I should not kill you and all your men in this roomâ she said, her voice now back to normal, her hands now gripping his cheeks as she forced him to look up at her,
âI ha..ve no reasonâ he managed to say.
The woman paused at his words, shouldnât he be pleading for his life right now, what was he saying?? âYou do not plead for your life, whyâ The woman asked, her head tilted at the unfamiliar happening infront of her,
âA king never pleadsâ For the first time in a long time, something magnificent had happened, this was something that had never happened before in all the nineteen years she has been aliveâŠ..she was shocked.
Looking down into his eyes, she tilted her head as she spent the few seconds looking for the slightest hint of fear or vulnerability in his eyes.
There was none.
Her hands left his face slowly, taking a step back as she acknowledged everything that had just happened, and it wasnât long before a smile broke on her face, her earlier frightening mood gone in an instant, turning to face the still immobilized soldiers, she gave them a quick command,
âSLEEPâ She said, and immediately, they all fell into a deep slumber, their bodies weak to the spell her voice had casted on them. Robb could feel himself getting restless, the feeling of vulnerability being both new and frightening to him,
âNolan, did I do good?â She said, letting out a chuckle as she walked away from Robb to the direction of where her brother was, a hop in her step as she crossed through around the room,
âYeah, you scared them out of their wits thoughâ he said back, âBut I definitely got their attention,â the sister said, stealing the glass of wine from her brothers hand and taking it for herself,
âYou seem to have gotten more than thatâ he replied, seemingly forgetting about the man sitting at the edge of the table, right in time for him to start talking,
âWhat is going on here???â Both siblings looked at each other, then looked at Robb, Y/N scratching her head as she tried to find words for him,
âWell you seeeee, we had read a book on how to talk with people about armyâs and stuff and I used it as referenceâ she said proudly, her hand on her brothers shoulder as she talked, âOh, do forgive me for what I did to your menâŠ.couldnât have them attacking us now could weâ she said, shrugging her shoulders as if what she had did was nothing big,
âHow did you do that?â Robb asked, his mind still frantic, the lack of concern in the room starting to get to him, adding to the fact that he couldnât move, AND his men were in what he thinks is a deep like trance,
âDo not worry about that right now, just listen closely to what I am about to sayâ As the woman spoke this, Nolan silently stood up from the chair, making room as he let his sister take his place at the head of the table,
âWe will lend you our menâ Robb paused at her words, wasnât all this because they DIDNT want to give them his men, what the in seven hells was going on right now,
âI know what youâre probably thinking, but just know that we have their best interest at heart, so we cannot give them up to the first man that asksâ he heard her say, âLives are meant to be lived, and if our men are to give theirs up, we have to ensure it is for good reasonâ
