[Personally the board gives me the wiggies, I know people think a pendulum is the same thing. But I just think requesting the help of a friend or some spirit is different than going knees deep into dead spirits and other things. Idk I just think its different]

So. give respect. Never ask how they died. Always say goodbye. NEVER finish until they say Goodbye [although its said its leaving it open, and some say it's to be polite and close the connection its okay if they don't say goodbye…I’d rather be safe than sorry]

 If the Planchette leaves the board? Burn the board. Never leave the Planchette on the board keeping the connection open for the possible spirit to leave the board.

[Personally I do respect the craft/believe in ghosts and spirits a little. But sometimes its weird that ALL ghost story/sightings happen in America and possessions specifically happen in spain/mexico. Given that other countries dont have footage like in the UK for ghost sightings [we have OLD as fuck buildings older than america at least] so yeah sometimes it feels a bit huey.]

friday night i went to a table tipping seance. i’ve been to a gallery reading before but never to a table tipping, and i had no idea what to expect. it was super intense. i heard from a friend from college who passed away earlier this year (this is the second time i’ve heard from him through a third party). i kept wondering why my grandma hadn’t come through, but then it hit me - she’s probably with my cousin right now, because she needs her more than i do. but after the lights came on and our eyes adjusted, two women who were at the seance with me said they saw a fluffy white dog behind me. everyone at the table said they did not own a white fluffy dog, and they didn’t have anyone who owned one..but my grandma did. i kinda wonder if her fluffy white poodle, buffy, stopped by to say hi - buffy used to look in on me in my crib so she’s always been a little protective. if that’s how my grandma chose to show up, i’m so very cool with that.

but i’m starting to wonder, based on that night, if i’m a bit of an empath? there was a very intense moment during the table tipping (it was a reading for another woman there) and i just lost my damn shit and sobbed so hard - she had the most tragic story and i felt like it was all happening to me. over the last few years, i really try to not watch movies/shows or listen to music that is especially sad/upsetting/horrific/negative - it really affects me big time. and i can only listen to my true crime shows or whatever when i can emotionally handle it. i even have to be careful watching unsolved mysteries - i get too caught up in it and start feeling like all of those crimes happened to me. i literally feel weird as hell after i watch unsolved mysteries. wtf y’all.

and then, on sunday, i went to a 6-hour workshop on developing my psychic/intuitive abilities and again, i think i have some empath mojo going on, and i think i may be claircognizant. so much of my predictions lately have just been knowing things, all of the sudden, like they hit me like a ton of bricks. like my coworker’s wife’s pregnancy and stuff like that. anyway, i need to do a lot of work in this area - which i’m looking forward to - but it definitely takes a lot out of me, energy-wise. i actually got sick sunday night - i was SO exhausted after the workshop, both physically and energy-wise - and i just wonder if that was my body’s way of being like, whoa, the vibrations this weekend were just too much.
