Phew, this one took me a few years, but can finally declare I've finished it! Mostly due to on-off interest and easily distracted by other projects.
Was a project my mom handed me when I was starting to reignite my interest in embroidery a few years ago, while she was losing interest in it herself. Might as well hand over the material she has lying around so it won't go to waste!
Can finally shelf this one for good now, with no more bad conscience of it just waiting half finished next to the all my other projects, heh.
And definitely learned a few handy stitches from it, outside of the usual cross stitching.
Anyways, enjoy

Butterick Pattern Book - Fall-Winter 1955
attack of the fifty foot veronica
There is one weird sequence in this episode, the enlarged Veronica at her pool party, who tells that she stitched swimsuits together because they were too small. So now we have it established that her clothing is not keeping up with her unstable molecules, and here she is experiencing a new sudden growth.
Quickly needing to cover herself, she grabs the table cloth.
And we scan across the crowd, with the imagery getting wobbly for dramatic effect. Crowd response to what would be... Veronica quickly dressing herself as her patch-work swimsuit falls apart.
So that is Betty. And Dilton?
The scene when they get her back to normal size, which skips off to the next scene without any explainer on how they transported away either a naked Veronica or a Veronica who was able to fold the oversized table cloth over her.
