T-Kay Sangwand is the Human Rights Archivist for the University of Texas at Austin Libraries' Human Rights Documentation Initiative and the Librarian for Brazilian Studies for the Benson Latin American Collection. Over the past six years, she has worked with non-governmental organizations in Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the U.S. to preserve their human rights documentation. She holds an MLIS and an MA degree in Latin American Studies from UCLA with specializations in Archives, Spanish, and Portuguese.

Originally from Los Angeles, California, T-Kay began working in college and community radio in 2001 and hasn't stopped since. When she's not in the archive, you can find her digging for records and hosting Hip Hop Hooray on KOOP Radio and The Afternoon Love In on dublab.com. 

Last zine read: The last zine I read was LIS Microaggressions (full disclosure: I've been working peripherally with them). I really love Anna Vo's zines. Like many other librarians, I am currently obsessed with #nekoatsume.
