You have the big ones; 2-14 are classified foreign affairs, 15-18 are the records from every fieldwork operation this country's ever done, and 1- we don't talk about 1. But buried in the back, down the list, in the west end of a small wing in sublevel-6 of the main archives, you have us. 58. Our job is more unique. Most of us have no idea why they pay us, we're just too important to let go and too risky to put anywhere else. Our technical job description is "collect, record, and monitor low-level interactions with foreign entities who express an interest in Pavilic archival materials," but at the end of the day, that's kind of boring. We've made this "tumblr" to search for more interesting things. In other words, we got tired of sitting in our offices listening to bugged phone lines, so now we're in your phone, and looking actively. yeah. there's more than a few things a little bit wrong with this but. it's my magic system!!! yay!!! roughly.

#i would've redrawn the palmar arteries for outward action but. i don't want to. and also wikipedia didn't have an easily traceable map #i am no biologist but by god do i love my magic system. and so i make things anyway.#mostly made these so i'd have a reference for aetos writing (he's a cast applied hematologist he knows this shit incredibly well)#cererants #sytp-tc #i am just realizing i forgot to draw the panels on refraction indexes i was going to. fuck. maybe later #more or less that's just how easily your storage can process and accept CMs at different rates #if it's low it means you usually have more “powerful” casting but it takes longer and is less efficient (think of it like a stronger base)#and you're less prone to power injuries (too much pooling) but are more prone to overuse injuries (too much buildup elsewhere)#if it's high it usually means you have less “powerful” casting but you can do it really efficiently (more streamlined casting)#and you're less prone to overuse injuries but more prone to power injuries.#and then you've got people like Atzia who have incredibly medically anomalous cast indexes #where the refraction index is so high + other natural things are so strong that it's powerful AND efficient.#and that's what saved her life when she almost got blown up that one time.#her body was able to process an amount of CMs that should've overloaded every system she had in enough time that it did minimal damage.
