I have listened to this song so often whilst making Sylvics I have taken the plunge and used it as one of the quote pages (I usually use “traditional” country sayings) but it fitted blackthorn so well, I had to use it.

First pass just didn't feel right, so I binned it off and re-drew over 2 pages. I traced the 2 panels I liked as they were too lovely to lose.

A few of you have asked about the process I use. So here it is. I pencil. Then ink with a mixture of dip pen, muji roller balls and Copic toner pens. Then I add the screentone, cutting it and applying it with a tonehera (that blue thingy you can see). I add highlights with a sand eraser (on her shades here) ... and I'm done.
