"Regulations are written in blood," is a popular thought-terminating cliche if you want to be smug about some dangerous blue-collar workplace idiot.
Even if you don't know if the idiot is actually breaking a reg.
On a broad level, regulations are just tools, they aren't perfect, and sometimes they actually make things worse.
And they're not always good-intentioned.
Buuuut on a personal level, I'm gonna stick to the script to the best of my ability, because it's literally above my paygrade. And if something goes wrong, and you weren't following procedure?
Good luck, buddy.
In case you can't tell, this comic's panels are drawn (almost) entirely in Blender.
Forgot to finish the secretary's shadows in the last panel, and I had to add the "DVD logo" on the TV in Krita, because Blender decided to stop rendering it for some reason.
"Hey, SYABM, wouldn't it be easier to just draw in Krita in the first place, especially if you're just going to end up looking like your regular style?"
Yes, but it wouldn't be as fun. Also, learning is fun, even if I don't need to.

I think my favorite part about this post (archive) was how OP (SunshineSentry) insisted she was against modern feminism, as she used "toxic masculinity" -Ā a term popularized by modern feminism - the exact same way a modern feminist would.
And when I said she was making (sexist) assumptions about the dude, she blocked me.
Ironic that the only way many people can address sexism against menā¦is by relying on more sexist assumptions about men.
It's possible I scared her off because she tried the ol' "You don't know what X is!" tactic.Ā
And I linked an entire column with detailed criticisms that I wrote over a decade ago.
TAKE 1:
Idiot girl: look, it's simple.
All I'm saying is that this man must have some sort of sexist upbringing that makes him act in a toxically masculine way.
Like almost all men.
And any other explanation is impossible.
(arms out in exasperation) How is that sexist?!
Comm: I'd like to point out that the guy we were discussing was entirely fictional, and there was no actual evidence for this genius' claims.
In fact, I provided evidence fron the show that contradicted OP's claims.
So she blocked me.
Of course, I wouldn't expect someone who says they're against modern feminism after they unironically use and define "toxic masculinity" exactly like a modern feminist to be long on self-awareness.
Alt (TAKE 2):Ā
-Look, all I did was blame a man's behavior on "toxic masculinity" with no evidence, and said the way I use "toxic masculinity" is the standard way. / The feminist way.
And you think I'm a feminist?!
Comm: OP explicitly said she was "against modern feminism"...and said she was right to use of a term used almost exclusively by feminists.
Of course, if you click that link, you'll find OP was seriously lacking in self-awareness.
