I despise Swordward and Shieldbert, for numerous reasons.

I hate how there was no warm-up to them, no previous hinting that they might exist. They came from nowhere with the most arrogant, unpleasant behavior and selfish actions possible. Nothing in how they spoke or acted gave me any reason to have even a passing respect for them.

Then the blatant ignorance and callousness of their "Grand Plan".

Were they honestly stupid enough to think that everyone in Galar would blame a pair of pokemon for them causing pokemon to Dynamax and go ballistic???

Hell no!!

They would get blamed if the Dymaxed pokemon hurt or even killed people before being stopped! Any moron could have told them that!! Because they caused it!

You blame the arsonist for starting the fire, not the firefighters for not getting there faster!!

Which also made the "betrayal" of Sonia's assistant utterly stupid. Those guys gave absolutely no reason for why she would have been loyal to them and gone along with the plan that would have easily put the region in danger and gotten innocent people killed! She had to have been a complete moron or had no idea what the actual plan was.

All because Sonia had written that their ancestors had used pokemon to help save the region in the past rather than it being some miracle event that a single human with a sword and shield defeated a nebulous "great evil."

As soon as the fact that they were responsible for all of that got out, and it would get out, they and their family would have been ruined. All political clout would have been destroyed. Their reputations as respectable people trying to help/protect the region would have gone down the toilet. Businesses would have been dropping them like they were fresh crap.

Because they made it clear they cared more about riding the coat-tails of their ancestor's reputation than they did about the region itself.

Ah, I see.  I interpreted it as they just plain escaped, but it was pretty vague.  Unfortunately, I get the feeling we’ll see them again. Anyway, I’m writing this as a follow up to the post game content.  Also, I’m not sure if you meant a poly relationship or you wanted both Raihan and Leon’s reactions, so I’ll be writing them separately.

After everything that happened, between Eternatus’ defeat to the Dynamaxed Pokemon raging in the countryside, it took a while for things to settle down.

You had assumed the prince twins had paid for their actions.  Well, somehow, some way, they were already out and about, free to act as they wish. They seemed to be keeping a low-ish profile, but after a while, they reached out to you.  It seems they developed feelings for you in between the time you last met.  Unfortunately for them, you were already in a relationship.

Leon

You were relaxing with a hot drink in the Wyndon café, waiting for Leon to meet up with you.  He had business in the tower to finish up, and it wasn’t clear how long it would take, so you were settled in and ready to wait a while.  As you took a sip, a figure approached you.

It turned out to be Swordward, somehow.  He greeted you with a bow, his sword-hair flopping seductively in front of face as he did so.

You asked him why he was here, and what he wanted with you. He thanked you for calming the Legendary Pokemon, and began to admit he had found himself wanting you.  In his life, and by his side.  And of course, he said all this with so much flowery language that you knew he probably practiced for this.  Which made it even sadder.

You began to tell him you already had someone when Leon walked in.  Leon looked at Swordward, looked at you, and then back at the man.  Apparently, the look on your face made it clear that you weren’t happy with the situation.

Leon came up to you two and asked what was going on, side eyeing Swordward as he did so.  Swordward seemed a bit offended by the suspicion, and in turn, asked why he was interrupting their conversation!

Leon responded by saying he was meeting up with his partner after work.  Like any normal relationship.  Swordward flushed at hearing this.

The prince legitimately had no idea you were dating the champion, and was thoroughly embarrassed. And felt slightly threatened, because he knew if Leon wanted to, he and Charizard could send him flying in an instant if they wanted to.  Perhaps an irrational fear, but it was a fear nonetheless.

Just like the last time you saw him, Swordward ran off at record speeds without much explanation.  It was a bit comical, looking back at it.

Leon immediately asked if you were okay.  It was always disturbing, receiving unwanted advances. As the former Champion, he was well aware of this.

When he was convinced that you were indeed okay, the two of you decided to go out on a date to help forget about the earlier events.

Raihan

Shieldbert was not as direct as his brother, and choose to fawn over you from afar, stalking your social media and anything else online he could find about you.  But, in time, being a secret admirer was too overwhelming for him, and he chose to make his thoughts and feelings known.

Somehow, some way, he got your phone number. You have no idea how, but when he started texting you, you were a bit creeped out.

What was worse is he didn’t immediately tell you who he was, so you just had this random person texting you, telling you he adored you and wanted to meet you in person again.  You finally just asked who he was, and when he told you, you couldn’t help but laugh.  Him?! Of all people, you weren’t expecting it to be Shieldbert, but it made sense in retrospect.

He sent you a picture, which scared you a bit as it loaded.  Luckily, it wasn’t anything risqué; it was just a simple waist up selfie.  He didn’t have his suit jacket on, and surprisingly, the guy actually takes good selfies. It almost looked professional. If it weren’t for the hair, you’d might actually think him a bit attractive.

But yeah, his hair.  The dome was as overdone as always, and literally caused a slight glare in the picture.  You had never seen such shine on hair before…

As you were trying to figure out how to respond, Raihan sent you a text, telling you he was on his way home.  You decided to fill him in on what was going on.  Needless to say, he was a bit irked.  He asked what you were going to do, and you said you weren’t sure.  He asked if you’d wait for him to come home to respond, because he had an idea.  You did so.

Raihan arrived home about an hour later.  After everything was a bit settled done, he sat down next to you, curious to take a look at the texts.  By the end, he was cracking up.  It was apparent the prince was enamored with you, and perhaps a bit desperate.

And all the while, Shieldbert had been occasionally sending texts, wondering why you suddenly stopped responding.  It wasn’t the picture, was it?

At seeing Shieldbert suggest that, Raihan took your phone, wrapped an arm around you, rested his head next to yours, and took a picture of the two of you.  It was actually a pretty sweet picture.

And then he pressed “SEND.”  It was shown as “seen” instantly.

And you didn’t get an instant response.  In fact, you didn’t hear from Shieldbert again after that.  You wish you could’ve seen his reaction.
