It disturbs me on so many levels that Donald Trump can use "Make America Great Again" as his slogan and can possibly be the next president but when Colin Kaepernick sat during the anthem and said that America isn't great he gets persecuted
"But black people are leading in crime rates despite being a small group of people compared to white groups
“Among racial and ethnic groups, African Americans had the highest poverty rate, 27.4 percent, followed by Hispanics at 26.6 percent and whites at 9.9 percent. 45.8 percent of young black children (under age 6) live in poverty, compared to 14.5 percent of white children.”
All u need is a quick Google to understand that it’s not a race thing, it’s a poverty thing.
Black people aren’t “born criminals” they grow in conditions that limit their options. I’m not trying to justifying black crime I’m trying to tell y'all that when you limit the job opportunities for black people on top of letting them live under other forms of racial discrimination you don’t exactly get a happy go lucky race with no crime.
If it were white people that couldn’t get jobs because of their hair, names, and cultures then they would be the ones leading in crime.
The answer is to stop discrimination in the workforce.
