What I’m Reading: July
Re-Reads:
1. It’s Been Awhile (Since I’ve Felt Butterflies) (sweetenough) - In which Louis works in an ice cream parlor and Harry is Gemma's cute little brother who starts working there, as well.
2. Make Tea, Not War (adventuring, howdoyouwhisk (popsongdelusional)) - Louis attempts to become a better flatmate, much to Harry's dismay.
3. I Had the Life of Ordinary, I Spat It Out (tableforthree) - Harry Styles falls asleep a sixteen year old boy nervous about his upcoming X-Factor audition that could make or break his career. He wakes up a twenty-six year old man with a husband and two children, and no recollection of the past ten years.
4. Ain’t Nothing Better Worth Imagining (plaidcardigan) - Niall and Liam are interfering twats, flirting like a normal person is overrated and Harry and Louis are made for each other.
New Reads:
1. ZIAM Can I Keep You (scottmcniceass) - Liam is always trying to do what’s best for himself and his daughter, but raising a kid on his own at twenty-two, on top of juggling school work and a full-time job, isn’t easy. Zayn just wants a chance to show Liam that he’s not going to walk out on them. And Liam’s daughter, Emma? She just wants to keep Zayn.
2. Hold the Moon (thispieceofmind) - Harry is a cliche. Louis is, well, Louis. They share an English course at university.
3. Call It Magic, Call It True (itiswhatitisbutterfly) - Harry Styles loves hockey, art history and speaks Italian. His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Wales is second in line to inherit the British Throne. Their relationship is sometimes a fairytale but occasionally a nightmare.
4. Orange You Glad I Stole Your Heart? (nauticalleeds (metamorphosis)) - Louis has an unknown neighbor who keeps stealing his tangerines. He didn’t expect for his heart to be stolen, too.
5. How Do You Whisk? (roughvoiced) - Bakery AU where Louis goes in for a job and comes out with a family.
6. A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes (theneverending) - Fairytale retelling of Cinderella, where Harry is a servant boy who’s too kind, Louis is a prince in an arranged marriage, Liam is Harry’s step brother, and Niall is Louis’ dutiful grand duke.
7. You’re Writing Verses About Me (rearviewdreamer) - Everybody knows that Louis has never been one for serious boyfriends. His reputation around campus precedes him, which is why he doesn’t think twice before proudly telling his mother about his new and completely fabricated relationship with his oddly quiet and completely gorgeous new roommate Harry to shut her up about his lack of commitment. It’s the perfect lie; a flawless plan, or at least it was until Louis’ ordered to bring his fabulous new boyfriend home.
8. Life As We Know It (rearviewdreamer) - When a couple dies unexpectedly, Harry and Louis are brought together to care for their daughter.
9. Tall Tales for Summer (turnyourankle) - Harry knows something is up when his mum insists on throwing him a birthday party in the summer. He’s even more suspicious of her intentions when he notices the guest list is all male.
