sage ⇢ what ‘medium’ of art (poetry, music, fiction, paintings, statues etc.) is the most touching to you? why do you think that is?

That's a really hard question because all mediums of art are so impactful and play a role... I think I'd have to lean towards Music though. Despite the fact I draw and that fiction writing is a very close second, music has just... Always been so important. Something about audio stimulation and how its always always been necessary for me to really Do Anything, and how broad the variety of music there is.

Ive always said even as an artist and a writer, I would rather go blind that deaf haha. I wish I could really explain it, but maybe its because I can take in and admire music more easily that illustration or writing, or how sometimes I can play an artist and feel every pure emotion drag me to the floor... I love music.

Haha honestly? It was a rebrand for my art! I had been going by the name 'Kialish' everywhere (a name I had plucked from a novel in high school and loved so much that I carried it for near a decade) but I wanted something to be more like... 'this is my BRAND this is my STUFF you will see this name and KNOW' and it was around the time a lot of my other friends were rebranding! I noticed a trend tbh how we veered from whatever our old names were and moved towards names that fall under this equation: [action OR adjective] + [noun/typically an animal].

I truly don't think we all did it on purpose, but it was so funny to see how it played out. I wasn't even doing it on purpose when I chose mine.
