His eyes fall on Sebastian and Lewis next to him and every thought of going back to sleep is gone.

They have shifted during the few hours of night and now Sebastian is lying on his back, still close to Charles, still naked, still touching him (but it’s not enough, can’t be enough after he fell asleep almost on top of him). Lewis who spooned him like a guardian angel, arms around Seb, is curled up against him, face pressed into his neck like he also can’t get enough of that unique scent, one big hand spread over the pale stomach with the cute happy trail.

Proprietary almost. Possessive. Definitely protective.

He looks serene. They both do.

Charles can’t imagine two people more contradicting in every possible way: pale and dark, muscular and slim, unkempt blond curls and carefully styled braids. But to him they make the most beautiful picture.

Together. Like this. Naked and unstyled. Natural and unaware.

Again it stings, tears at his heartstrings. The feeling of being obsolete, unnecessary. Because they are complete. They are perfect. They are everything.

(Even though they don’t know it.)

But he can’t make himself get up, not even to protect his poor little heart. He stays. Because they are too beautiful to look away. Because he’s a masochist, maybe.

Because his poor little heart is in love with them.

Summary:

“Very brave, well done,” Mark says quietly. “Nothing to be scared of, little mate.”

The cat looks up at him with enormous eyes, bright blue and flecked with gold. He doesn’t speak Cat nearly as well as he speaks Dog, but he can read this one’s expression clearly: Oh please, as if I’m afraid of you.

Mark sighs again. He probably needs to work on the whole Aussie Grit thing if he can’t even intimidate a sopping-wet kitten. “Yeah, fair point,” he agrees wryly. “Tuck in, then.”

Three pieces of chicken later, and Mark finds himself with a lapful of cat, purring so loudly it’s audible even over the sound of the rain. He can feel the vibration like a tiny motor as he runs a hand very gently along the cat’s back.

It’s much easier to talk to an animal than to a person, sometimes.

On track, Mark is the personification of Aussie Grit. In private, he's having a hard time getting his infuriating German teammate out of his head. Thank goodness for his beloved pets: Shadow and Simba, of course, plus his new as-yet-unnamed feline friend, the stray cat who turned up at his house a couple of days after he got home from the Turkish grand prix, and who has already taken over his house, charmed his dogs, and completely stolen his heart.

Because animals don't judge. They don't care whether or not he wins a race, or how he feels about his teammate. He can be as soft as he likes, and tell them all his secrets, and nobody else will ever need to know...

It suddenly becomes a race against time as Seb tries all he can to steal the car and bring it back to its original size before the race begins.

Hello everyone, and welcome to Season 2 of Seb Vettel’s Amazing Lovers Fic Fest!

After the success of last year, we’re now back for another amazing fest this year!

For those new here, this is an event dedicated to writing fanfics and drawing fanart of Sebastian Vettel and his many boyfriends and girlfriends in the Formula 1 world and other motorsport series.

You can ship Seb with anyone you like: From Martian/Sebmark, to Simi, Sebchal, Sewis, Vettonso, Sebson and the like. Rarepairs are included, so you have the ability to share your most obscure or least talked-about Seb pairing you fancy. This also includes anyone from the motorsport world and racing series: WEC, ROC, WRC, Moto GP; anything you like! Can’t stick to one Seb ship? Adding multiple Seb ships into one fic is welcome too!

Get creative and get together to write fanfics and draw beautiful fanart of those fanfics.

Big things are happening...

Hold on to your Perple energy drinks!

This is a project I've been wanting to create for a while now. It's probably already been done before, but I'm trying to make this one as unique and accessible as possible. I think the world deserves more Seb orientated fic fests, don't you think?

I was inspired by the concept of the F1 Big Bang fanfic event, and thought I'd put my own spin on it. But this time, it will be different. I will be centring this event around Sebastian Vettel and his many boyfriends and girlfriends. Pairings such as Martian/Sebmark, Simi, Sebson, Sewis, Sebchal, and the like. I'm including rarepairs as well to give people more accessibility and to let their imaginations run wild with creativity. Fanfic writers and artists will have free rein to pair Seb up with anyone from the motorsport world, including ROC, Moto GP, WRC, Nascar, and any of the Formula categories. You could even add Seb's Red Bull engineer Rocky and pundits such as Lee McKenzie and David Coulthard. Plus, you can put them in any situation you like; AU or otherwise. Go crazy!

🌟 FEST RULES: 🌟 -All works must be complete and handed in ON TIME! If you have any issues prior to the fest’s due date, such as a possible time extension, get in contact with me or the mods well in advance.

-You may sign up as both a writer and an artist, if you want to.

-Submitting AI generated works is NOT allowed and goes against the fest’s rules. You will automatically be kicked out of the server if this happens.

-DO NOT WRITE OR DRAW ANY SEXUAL CONTENT INVOLVING MINORS (PEOPLE WHO ARE UNDERAGE)! You will be banned from the server if you’re caught doing this.

-You’re free to share snippets of your fanfic or artwork in this server. Just make sure you add ones that don't reveal too much of the story. Obviously, you can share the whole thing with the people you’re collaborating with by the time artist claims rolls around.

-Another thing to keep in mind of: If you’re going to talk about the fanfic you’ll be writing for the fest on platforms outside of Discord such as Tumblr, don’t spoil too much about what happens in your story. Try to keep it all under wraps until the date of the fest to keep your audience in suspense.

-As always, please don’t share your work with anyone outside of the fandom. The RPF world is our little corner of the internet and is not to be shared with anyone outside of that. That includes sharing it with the people you’re writing about.

✍🏻 WRITERS: 📖 -You are allowed to write more than one Seb pairing for your fanfic. You don’t have to restrict yourself to just one Seb pairing. You can have as many as you like in your story. Or you can stick to just one Seb pairing. Whatever you fancy!

-You are allowed to include any motorsport series you like in your fanfic (F1, Moto GP, WEC, etc.), but you MUST include Sebastian Vettel in it in some way. You can cross it over with other racing series, if you wish. However, general crossovers from films, TV shows and video games are NOT allowed! You can base a story off of them, but don’t attempt to put a character from, say, a Marvel film into your stories and artwork. This is a Sebastian Vettel and motorsport server after all! You can stick to canon or write a wacky, fun, silly, or dramatic story in the form of an AU (Alternate/Alternative Universe). It’s completely up to you!

-You can write a one-shot or a multi-chaptered fanfic. You may base your work off of an existing fanfic you’ve written, but it MUST be standalone and not a new chapter of a multi-chaptered fanfic. If you’re planning to make a standalone prequel or a sequel to a multi-chaptered fic you’ve written, then that’s fine.

-Your work must be at least 75% complete to submit your proposal by the artist claims.

-Communicate with your artist and beta readers. You can DM, email or message them. Whatever works for you and for them.

-All complete works must be 5k or more to allow the artist plenty of information to do some artwork for you.

-Your work must be tagged appropriately.

-You’re not allowed to publish anonymously. Your username must be clearly displayed when publishing your finished work. We won’t be able to find you otherwise!

-Make sure to give credit to the artist you are paired with when submitting your fanfic.

🎨 ARTISTS: 🖌️ -You have free rein to create all sorts of art pieces for the writer’s fanfic in any style and format you like: A title cover, a banner, a scene from the fanfic, etc. You can do some traditional hand drawn pictures, paintings, arts and crafts, video edits, traditional/digital collages, and many more. Go crazy!

-There’s no limit on how many you decide to do. Doing just one piece of fanart is absolutely fine if you can’t manage to do more than that.

-Be sure to give credit to the writer you’re paired with when submitting your artwork.
