Have some more Susuh inks! I was not feeling well today so I stayed home and colored the rest of these in. Like usual with Susuh I'm sort of torn between the simpler coloring style I do and giving it a bit of flair with blending at the cost of taking more time to color these in.

Otherwise the most fun part of Susuh's new design is all the ways I can pose him and screw with proportions for the sake of exaggerating a pose to make him look even more fucked up.

I’ve been streaming progress on this guy’s sketching and inks on Picarto, only lately have I finally been able to start coloring a few of the inks I’ve done of Susuh, this time with some updated lore and an updated look to match.

Susuh still started out as a pretty horrible person that did horrible things, and was punished by being flayed alive. In the process they either were cursed, or the nature of their punishment and their malignant nature in general twisted them into a monster on death- Sort of like Malifirrum turning into a demon after spending several centuries in the Ether as a malicious spirit, but Susuh’s change happened much faster.

Their body is mismatched; one arm is shorter than the other, one leg is plantigrade and the other is digitgrade, to make Susuh’s plight worse, whenever they find a skin that may fit them, their body will morph and shift to prevent them from ever being able to wear it as their own.

I’ve been exploring Susuh’s design more as of late, with his face I decided to get rid of the staring eyes that were left over from when he was human and currently deciding on whether to have little pinpricks in there or leave them dark.

Also still figuring how much sort of viscera/fat is left over on him from when he had been initially flayed and cursed. I like it to break up the flat red he would have otherwise.

I’ve been drawing a bunch of Susuh lately, mostly trying to get his design down. Mostly in the way of figuring how something that has been skinned looks.

Some other stuff with Sliuh. I thought it would be fun to explore them a little bit more.

Sliuh and Susuh tend to clash often over prey, since both of them want the skins. However, while Susuh are cursed creatures and are in search of their missing skin, Sliuh are more interested in getting a meal and a disguise.

Some drawings of Susuh and Sliuh, since I had been meaning to draw them interacting again. Though they both have the same sort of goal in that they kill to get themselves a skin to use, they tend to fight a lot.

I’ve been working on Susuh again, mostly playing around with giving him more facial muscles instead of keeping his face mostly a fleshy skull looking thing.
