For most of the time, Marlon let Violet alone. It seemed dangerouse to annoy her, considering her constand bad mood and overall just very charming character. Short, she wasn’t fun to be around. Still, he did care for her, like he did for anyone else who still was with them at the Boarding School.

Maybe, just maybe, even a little more than that.

She sure would be missed at their table, when playing cards with Louis after dinner. Playing games, that was the time when he truely enjoyed beng together with a bunch of kids his age. These nights where the only time he could forget all his worries, at least for a short amound of time, until an uncomfortable question poisened the atmosphere. 

“ Oh, hey look. Seems like you bad luck is over, Violet. ”, Marlon joked, as she flipped the card with the highest number. “ What do you want to ask? ”

          Her lips pressed firmly together as she answered the inquiry. "Half of the time, I'm already living a solitary life. And I try to avoid as much people as possible. So, there wouldn't be anything that would lead me to be recluse for a week because I already do that."
