          “Wooh! Wooh!” He held his arms out and took a nervous step back. That was indeed a dog. It wasn’t like he was afraid of animals. He loved them! Just…..well this one was barking at him and he would hate to find out what will happen if it attacked him. “I….I…don’t mean any harm, boy? Girl?” It was hard to tell from his angle. Maybe this was a horrible place. It hardly looked the risk of entering. But he was afraid to move, the dog could attack him. Although, he felt like he was doomed no matter what he did. The barking must had attract attention because he soon enough heard a voice. It was no doubt over for him. “I…..don’t want to hurt anyone…I…I wouldn’t!”

The growling comming from the hallway catched Marlon’s attention. “ Hey. Easy, girl. I thought you liked our newcommers by now. ”, Marlon tried to soothe his dog as he followed the sound of her growling. Thinking, it only was Rosie who still had trouble to accept Clementine and AJ as member of their little family, he went unarmed and was surprised, if not even shocked, to stumble int a complete stranger. 

He should have known better. Their school wasn’t well enoough observable to make sure no one could sneak in from outside. They had felt too safe, became too careless, after such a long tie without incidences. But maybe it was time to step up their game again. 

“ How the hell did you got into here and what are you looking for? ”, Marlon almost growled as deep and aggressive as Rosie, which didn’t make her calm down at all and only cheered her on to bark at the intruder again.

Marlon always had been a little messed up, which was what brought him to Ericsons Boarding School in the first place. He had imagined his death a thousand of times, especially since the virus broke lose. But this, stabbed by a raider, wasn’t how he had imagined to die. 

The sting itself had been more painful than every beating he ever had expierenced. It was more than just a scratch, or a gods bite. He could feel how the blade cut through his organs befor falling in shock and stumbling backwards against a wall. 

Both hands pressed against his wound, he slided down to the ground, watching as the raiders left, feeling how the warm, red liquid drenched his college jacket. There was so much blood comming out of him. Blood, he couldn’t stop staring at, while he realised that he couldn’t stop tehe bleeding.

But just as he had lost all hope, a by now familiar face appeared in his vision.
