#surgery.

I’m really getting on my last nerve with my older coworkers. People my mom’s age ish, especially if they work day shift before me (or just, Are Day People), and come in off the clock. I’ve only been at this job for a year, so when we run into a situation that I haven’t done, they snap at me. For just not knowing a thing. And occasionally for other petty reasons, the occasional older coworkers on my shift will snap at me. This is uh, unacceptable, and even though I’m executive dysfunctioning some of this, I’m going to uh, let myself address it the next time it happens. I’ve mostly been doing better lately! This is because we are addressing the issue that was me being thrown up front to deal with people all day, because others didn’t want to. There’s less laziness now and new hires that prefer being up there, so we’re better on that one.

But, one manager in particular’s pissed me off royally and reassured one of my health decisions. See, I have a co-worker that she was giving shit to. A cis coworker, that just had a reduction done. But she was phrasing things condescendingly, as if I was ‘babying’ her when I was just trying to stay busy and make the night less annoying. Because i have ADHD and like physical work. I was trying to clean the registers, because it takes like 2 seconds, and having someone clean while the other checks is more efficient than say....having to drop the paper towel and run back every time you have a customer. But I was told all ‘you don’t have to do that, find something to do’ and just earlier, complaining tone-wise about having to keep her up front instead of facing, that ‘~since she says she can’t handle it~’. Like Bitch????? First of all, if you have a problem with what I’m doing? Have a Fucking Plan, Manage Me. That’s literally nobody’s fault. not to mention there really wasn’t much to help the other guy with, we had basically nothing left.

Second of all??? Says? ‘SAYS’ she can’t handle it???? GIRL JUST HAD CHEST SURGERY. honestly props, I didn’t even know that you could just return to work after only....it can’t have been more than a week or two. I suppose if you don’t lift weight, than yeah!

So, I do have the number of a Top Surgeon! and base funds, I’m waiting on new insurance to be instated, just in case. But it’s a good thing that I was already planning on taking a month off. Which I’m definitely still doing, if she’s being this bad over a cis coworker having a reduction???? this same manager has also been casually misgendering me lately. Probably cause I zone tf out and don’t always correct every customer, but come on.  Course....I also somewhat unstealthed myself but ehhhh. I don’t regret confiding in ppl my age who stick up for me. Probably means some of these older one’s’re misgendering me behind my fucking back now, great.

But yeah, definitely reinforces my decision, cause if I’m stuck up front healing and tired, peopleing all day, and dealing w/ her bullshit???? Noooo no. Not Happening.

See, her attitude is just. not great. Not my words, but I’ve had a customer come to me for advice and being so lost on what to do.....and calling her A Bitch. Because she’s ~tired~ and takes it out on other people, all day long.  I’m really tired of having to deal with people doing this to me! This is a consistent problem with a few people!

It’s kind of a shame, cause I know i need to be nipping this in the bud w/ Anyone misgendering me, the verbalization is just kinda. slipping my mind unfortunately. Especially since some of my customers like to reenact my big pet peeve, which is acting like my Best Friend and stalking me, and making other dumb jokes at my expense. lmao i Hate People. i hate some of the bullying society allows or encourages, it’s not the same as Friend Bullying.
