Not a sequence 🤣😂 📷 @kaleallover #35mm Surfing - day 2 and the 6th official try over the last 20 years, needless to say... I’m struggling an am terrible but I am motivated by the ppl around me to keep trying until it makes sense... I used a metaphor relating surfing to learning how to kickflip in the 80s... it took me about 2 years of dedication, trying everyday, over an over til I got I got it, shins probably payed the biggest price but it was worth it, and so will this be. Surfed yesterday w/ Kale and last Friday w/ @whiterhyno and his 6 year old daughter who rips, I got some pointers an questions in on the kid in the car, basically like, ‘wtf, how did you do that, over an over, are you gonna be sore tmrw’ answer- ‘no!’ My arms feel so much better today than on Saturday... and thanks @cannahempx @mycannahemp for maximum recovery tools. 8. Grünwasserwellen lassen einen eine Menge Salzwasser schlucken. 9. Weißwasserwellen auch. 10. Man braucht jede Menge Zeit bis man es wenigstens ein bisschen kann. Wir haben es jetzt ca. 1 Woche 1 - 2 Std. / Tag geübt und die anderen Surfer sagten es ist schon ein Erfolg wenn man ans stehen kommt. Also üben, üben üben! Heute war unser letzter Tag. Da An- und Abreisetag ist/war hatten wir viel Platz und eine schicke Liege direkt am Strand! Die Sonne hat auch geschienen und so haben wir den Urlaub mehr als entspannt ausklingen lassen. Nach dem üblichen Besuch an der Snackline und der notwendigen Mittagspause habe ich mich dann zum letzten Mal mit dem Board ins Wasser geschmissen. Es waren noch mal tolle Wellen und ich hab ein paar schöne Dinger gestanden. Danach haben wir uns am Surfspot von der Crew verabschiedet und jetzt gleich geht es zum letzten Mal ins Restaurant.
Wir freuen uns beide auf unser Zuhause. Ein paar letzte Runden Gin Tonic und dann geht’s ab in die Pofe. Morgen früh fliegen wir dann gen Heimat. Bis dahin wünschen wir Euch alles Gute.
