ă â eh, paps would argue with ya there. â ă
Papyrus always did try and see the best in people and Sans didnât doubt that his brother would do everything he could to help someone see that they could change. that there was good in them, even if they didnât think so. Sans didnât really care so much. didnât bother really making an effort unless he really had to.       it wasnât like he had any grounds to try, either. there were things about himself that he didnât think would ever change. like the fact that he always kept so much to himself. that he lied through his teeth a lot just to keep Papyrus happy. his burdens were his own, after all.
                  ă â âcourse i guess it depends on the person. â ă
and whether or not they even wanted to change to begin with.
âyou know, itâs funny, my brother would probably argue with it too.â
He had a drink clutched in his hand, half empty, and stared almost mournfully at the lingering contents. A funny thing, change. So many things changed when they reached the surface, and yet...
So much stayed the same too.
He looked back up at Sans, his eyelights leveled, and quirked up one side of his teeth, just a little, a crooked sort of smile.
âbut i ainât interested in what our brothers think. what do you think, sansy? can you change someone? you, yourself? have you ever?â
