I was also able to watch Batman v Superman. It was enjoyable. Great affects. Some funny lines, good actors/actresses and you can’t go wrong with Wonder Woman, nope can’t go wrong at all.
The Batmobile was the most interesting version since the ‘66 TV show, I’d still have to go with the ‘66 version for the “lottery garage”, but it was far better than the others in the movies.
I remember when it was announced that Ben Affleck was going to play Bruce Wayne/Batman, a lot of people scoffed and groaned, but he played it well. Far more believable as Bruce Wayne and as Batman than say Michael Keaton. Jeremy Irons played a great Alfred, though he was younger looking than I expected.
3 hours was hard to take. There did seem like a pretty good break in the story line at about halfway through, so if I watch it again, I might turn it into two movies.
Marvel has made some good movies, and have handled things the right way with multiple movies/shows/etc coming out of their universe. Hopefully DC gets their act together and starts improving things, because as a kid those were the ones I liked far better than the Marvel side of things.
FAN MADE: Super Cafe: Sidekick!

poster for Man of Steel, by Martin Ansin. He's got a good style, and if you check out his portfolio he tends to mix up his aesthetics quite a bit. But I'm really digging the late 70s, hand-drawn vibe this one going
(the film on the other hand is only okay)

These splash pages from Adventures of Superman #1 by Jeff Parker & Chris Samnee showcase the type of artistic pleasantness and fun I've missed from Superman in a long time.
I fell in love with Samnee's sublime artistic style during his ill-fated run on Thor The Mighty Avenger and i'm glad to see this guy getting more work. Now that Thor has been collected into a regular-sized TPB as well as Rocketeer: Cargo of Doom (not to mention his current run on Daredevil with Mark Waid), i'm gonna have to drop some serious dollars on wrangling Samnee's bibliography.
