Meaning, if you ‘follow’ the tag you searched, every post people make that would show up in that search will show up on your dashboard. Luckily, it seems you have to activate this new feature by pressing the follow button when you search something.

I don’t know about you guys but I prefer to go through a tag at my leisure, not have it all shoved onto my dash willy nilly.

@staff you guys do know that people who come to this site to ‘raid’ are gonna have an easier time of it now? When other sites ‘raid’ Tumblr, they post huge amounts of images (gore, porn, anything harmful they can find) in the popular tags. If these posts just SHOW UP on people’s dashboards, that’s worse than before. The flimsy line of defense we had when we had to look up the tag on purpose is now gone.

It also will clutter dashboards way more, in a way that leaves us with less control over exactly what kind of content we want on our dashboards. 

If a person were to track a fandom tag, for example, they’d get: fanart (both safe and non-safe, since we can’t block tags without an extension), fanfics (same as the art), people bashing the content the fandom is based on (if they mention the content’s name at all it’s gonna show up on our dashboards now and I personally don’t need that kind of negativity in my life), and every single post that uses that content’s name, which with fandoms tend to be AN ABSOLUTE TON. Many of the latter types will sound almost exactly the same.

Genesis 19: 1-13 “Sodom and Gomorrah's destruction:”

The story of Sodom and Gomorrah. Basically, God says that He's going to destroy cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, if two angels cannot find any good people within the towns. Once the angels arrive, a kind man named Lot invites these angels into his home and entertains them. This angers the cities' men, and the men rallied outside of Lot's home, wishing to do "perverse actions" to these male angels. Moments later, the two cities are destroyed by fiery rain.

Many anti-gay Christian ministers use this passage to say that this is an example of God’s wrath against homosexuality...as if the men of Sodom were all gay, and all trying to "be gay with" these male angels.

Historians and sociologists tell us that gang rape was a very common form of brutal humiliation of the subjects, in the ancient Western world. The Sodomite men did not come to Lot’s house to have monogamous, committed, loving relationships with the male angels residing there. They came to rape these angels.

With France legalizing gay marriage this Tuesday (April 23, 2013) it is a huge step in the right direction for true world equality. After reading into this story a little more I realized that I became more and more depressed. Not a suicidal depression, but a depression for the world as a whole. France was the fourteenth country to legalize the marriage of two consenting humans of the same sex. Fourteen out of One Hundred and Ninety-Six. that is only a miserable seven percent (7%) of the countries. I am proud to say that Canada, the country that I live in, is one of those countries. But that doesn't stop the fact that Ninety-Three percent (93%) of the countries of the world do not give the right to marry someone of the same sex to the population of their country. America the "Land of the Free, and Home of the Brave" is a country who controls the way this world runs. When America jumps the rest of the world wants to jump just like America. The United States is like our big brother who we want to be exactly like. If they were to legalize gay marriage, and this would include ignoring the Bible belt (On a side note; I live in what is considered the "Canadian Bible Belt" and I can tell you from experience, nothing will change when gay people get the 'okay' to get married. Your churches will not burn to the ground and Jesus will not come again to take us all back to heaven. Life will go on.) with their protests in the support of 'traditional marriages' and give equality too all, we may see the world move forward a little bit and move on to issues that are more important like finding a cure for cancer, AIDS or any other disease that will kill our children and our grandchildren if we don't contain it.
