Trying to ply these real quick to get my spindles back but oml its a lot of yardage. What ive got thus far is probably already enough for a pair of ankle socks (my preference), so.....
The 4 ply is real nice btw. Hard on the fingers tho, geez.

The spinning journey continues! I plied the single I had, because I bought the needles for the project and I really wanted to get swatching!
It came out to around 67 yards, still haven't counted wpi on the plied yarn but the singles were somewhere around 80
I gave the yarn a bath in the espresso cup I've been using as a spindle bowl because it was adorable
I accidentally added a poll to my post and couldn't figure out how to delete it so I'll ask about your favorite geometric shape so it'll let me post without having to redo everything
triangle
no but seriously, triangle
Sometimes just cool to hold a couple spindles. Really ought to have weighed them when empty so i could see how much more to spin on the left one, but i havent weighed any of them yet. Want to woodburn the weight onto the spindle and just havent had time yet.
Finally some good light for a few moments today. Here's the 3 ply BFL I've been spinning at work. It ended up less than I was hoping for--about 140 yards (130 meters) and is a light sports weight. I do think it's very pretty but I'm not sure what to do with it. Maybe gloves, idk.
And of course, the spindles. I don't have any good pictures of them full--this was like 2/3 of the way through.
I ended up plying them on my wheel, which was very quick and didnt have any problems with the spindles--i just stuck them in a bowl and let them roll around.
