I just wondered about Steve Rogers, new Captain America who has never received any training for his powers or his new body, leading ww2, probably not being able to ask for any specialized training because he's the nation's icon and cannot be weak or underprepared.
And then I think about Bucky Barnes, Winter Soldier, receiving a probably bastardized version of cap's serum, being pushed again and again by hydra as a part of an intensive, brutal training for being a perfect killing weapon, not having any choice but to become the best, most efficient, probably robotic version of himself.
That's why Bucky - in tfatws - lands on his feet everytime he leaps (it's the hydra training which taught him to be stealth, efficient, no margin for mistakes) and Steve - in catws - free falls into broken glass, injured, hurt, and gets up and walks off.
Two sides of the same coin, two weapons that still retain their personhood. Steve Rogers - clumsy but determined and reckless, and Bucky Barnes - quiet, controlled, protector like.
