@supernovaecastaway replied to your post “do you have a bias?”
If anon means bias in the kpop fandom sense of the word, I think they’re asking if you have a favorite lol but don’t quote me on that, that’s just from the folks that have turned into kpop blogs along the way XD
Well, colour me surprised. I’ve like, never even looked at kpop.
(No, that’s a lie, I like two songs. One of them is by Red Velvet and I don’t know what it’s called but the video is sort of the story of a murder, and the other is called Lucifer and I dunno who it’s by but they used it on the show and it’s excellent.)
@skyler10fic replied to your post “do you have a bias?”
If you were voice-typing on your phone and meant to ask if she has a bi ass, than answer is yes. ;P
lmao. I love you.
@ writer ask :DDDD (randomly picked so sorry if any are weird questions or you've already been asked lol) 5, 10, 23, 36
5. Share one of your strengths.
Hmmmmm this is always a hard one but….maybe dialogue? It’s all born from a love of mimicking/pretending to be people IRL LMAO
10. Which fic has been the easiest to write?
this one!!! cus it was short and all they did was boOnE
23.If you were to revise one of your older fics from start to finish, which would it be and why?
God….I know no one comes here for this but on my AO3 I have 2 yuri on ice fics up and I would probably rewrite the medieval fantasy one cus it was kinda rushed (super, super late pinch hit) and I feel like I coulda done more but lbr I’d probably just rewrite it as sheith LOL
36. Which is your favorite site to post fic?
AO3 for sure!! tho I really like posting fic on tumblr too i feel like i don’t have to be as refined hahaha
AND FINALLY. LAST BUT NOT LEAST. Gimme that good good. Wrestling, #105
F1L105: Split, swivel, sit in his lap and do all the things that would leave his body covered in tiny bruises.

You probs already got this BUT IDC: Hello, you have been identified as An Awesome Writer™. Congrats, you rock! So that all of your readers can shower you with some extra love today, please tell us your favourite five (or as many as you want) stories of yours and why you like them and then send this to another five fic authors you think deserve this title! ♥
ahhhh there was another one! forgiiive meeee! Ok let’s go!
1. His Eyes - This was my first real request style fic where I didn’t come up with the situation, but I love how it developed! Reception for this story was great…apparently everyone loves college AU. Also, 1000% banter and banter is my jam.
2. Solid Script: Heat - This was my prompt for Levy day. It was a little challenging just focusing on her without her relationship to Gajeel. I love the friendships that formed in this one and the enigma that is young Levy.
3. Hiccups - My first attempt at writing something that wasn’t gjaevy! It went really well and I enjoyed navigating the differences in both these dragonslayer/book nerd pairs. Also I kinnndda predicted the last chapter of Fairy Tail and could only write this after midnight…so I think Mashima came to be in a dream to give me this fic…or I really read the characters well lol.
4. Tears - My first attempt at one of my other favorite couples (Bixanna)! It was great to find a situation that I could have both sad and joyous tears. Bickslow is so fun to write and this one really came out quite fast.
5. Saturday Mornings - 100% fluff. This was such a fun little fic to write. I adore when Gajeel teaches Levy things and her wit comes out sooooo much when she’s grumpy. I had written a ton of smut around this time and wanted to pull it back a little and show some cuteness. Plus, I got to teach everyone how to make eggs cause I am tired of underwhelming breakfasts.
WRITER ASKS: (Randomly chosen so apologies for whatever I'm about to ask lol) 1, 7, 15, 23, 37, 42, 50
1. What was your first fic andcould you stand to reread it today?
Research was my first fic I wrote!I did in fact reread it just now. My techniques weren’t the best (same wordstoo close together, dialogue being at weird places in paragraphs, sentences notflowing well) but I love the emotion I evoke. It’s got this dreamlike feel toit, and I get swept up in Levy’s feelings each time I read it. There are theseethereal moments where I can see how she sees him in this longing, fleetingmanner. I love the surprise as she realizes what she’s been holding back. AlsoI enjoyed taking a stab at the Shadow Gear dynamic and their feelings. There’sa cold acceptance that comes from realizing you may not be the main person inyour friend’s life, that it’s ok to let someone else in, and that sometimestheir best chance for happiness is to have you take a step back. It’s a realfriendship moment cause he loves her enough to come to terms with the pain fromhis broken heart
7. What’s the fic you most want tocontinue (unfinished or no)?
Lol my multichap.Actually Research really feels like the first chapter of a story, but what thatstory is I have no idea. There’s lots that I write in the sametimeline/universe (most of lovefest), and there will be a part 2 to one of myfluffy fics that I’ve already outlined.
15. Have you ever purposefullywritten one fandom/fic idea over another because you knew it’d be more popular?
No. It’s hard for me to writewithout a connection, so I don’t write stuff to necessarily be popular. I do alot of research when writing a couple, otherwise I feel like it sounds forced,so I only write those where I can understand the relationship. When I didrequests, I would try to throw in things I knew the person I was writing forwould like…maybe someone loves angst or extra smutty detail, I’d try to make itspecial for them.
23. What’s the nicest reviewyou’ve ever gotten?
I don’t think there’s been anicest one. There have been some that have made me cry cause people I admiresay they like my work and feel like I’m good or improving. There’s also beensome where I sit there with my jaw open cause total strangers have told methey’ve read a fic over and over because they loved it. Those mean so much, cause having people want to relive the journey makes me feel like I’ve done myjob as a writer to transport and entertain a reader.
37. Have you ever purposefullybashed a character/ship in a fic?
No. I try not to write charactersI don’t like. I love lots of different ships, and I know not everyone likes theones I do and that I don’t necessarily like the ones that some do. If I don’tlike a ship or character I’ll just stay away from them. I won’t bash a shipwithout provocation as long as it’s a healthy, consensual relationship. I cananalyze, sure, but I won’t try to write them. If I don’t like eating brusselssprouts I’m not gonna buy them, cook them, serve them, and go…wow…guys I wasright, these things suck. I just won’t buy them. Also note: if anyone knows howto make brussels sprouts less bitter I would love to know cause they always endup too bitter to me…but I’m also made of sugar….If I do dump on a character,it’s probably cause I’m making them a villain, and you’re generally notsupposed to like them.
42. How many views has your mostpopular fic gotten?
On ff.net Forever Mine is amultichap collection of all my nsfw oneshots for lovefest. That has the most viewscurrently at 2705 views. The single oneshot with the most views is Stamina at1966. That one is the longest too (6.3k) and is THE most explicit fic I havewritten. We’re talking beginning to end and then some. I did not hold backcause it was a gift for a friend and I knew she would die of joy if I did that. All of my stories are on tumblr, FF.net, and Ao3 for those who like to read on various platforms.
50. Has writing fanfic had asignificant impact on your life? Would you say it’s entirely positive?
Yes! I have really grown and founda love lost in writing. It helps me process my feelings and gives an outletwhen I’m frustrated. There is a sense of control in writing when it feels likemy life is spinning and uncontrollable. Maybe not entirely positive. I tend toprocrastinate other work for writing, spend late nights working and tear at mybrain trying to make the pieces fit. At times I even prioritize writing overother responsibilities and have to deal with the consequences, but I’ve seenthat happen with every new truly passionate hobby I have. Whether it’s a sport, friendship, or just a new activity, it takes a while before the intense need todive into it fades, and I can achieve balance. Writing has lead me to someamazing friends that help fill the holes in my heart and make me feel loved.Knowing people like what I do gives me a sense of confidence that is hard tocome by elsewhere, and I love it.
For dialogue prompt, I'm stuck between #24 and #25 for Sheith, so dealer's choice on those two :) (or both? I'm already crying thinking about both 😭)
[ You asked for this. Heads up for Bad End™. Sheith. Angst. Character Death. ]
“There’s nothing you can do.” & “It hurts.”
“Hurts,” Shiro says, human hand covering the gash in his side. Shiro inhales sharply as Keith pushes him, gently, but firmly to the ground.
“I know,” Keith says, trying for soothing. His voice comes out in a harsh rasp. Shiro grunts. “You gotta let me have a look at it, Shiro,” Keith says, pulling at Shiro’s hand.
“There’s nothing you can do,” Shiro says, but Keith pulls his hand away anyway. Blood, wet and red, seeps through the rent in the armor and it coats Keith’s fingers as he tries to get a better look at the wound.
Slowly, Keith works the plates of armor off, but every time his hands get too close, Shiro makes a high, choked off noise of pain, breathing out hard through his nose and Keith feels it like a punch to the gut. Getting the armor off around the wound is not as hard as looking at it once he’s peeled Shiro’s undersuit back. The gash is wide and deep and bleeding freely.
“You’re gonna be okay,” Keith says, pressing his hand against Shiro’s side.
“Don’t lie to me,” Shiro says, “please.”
“I’m not,” Keith protests. He’s not sure if he’s protesting to himself or protesting to Shiro, because it looks really bad. Really, really bad. Keith’s crash course in field medicine has not prepared him for this sort of damage. His mind races, but he doesn’t take his now slick palm off Shiro’s side.
“Keith?” Shiro’s voice is off, and it makes Keith look up from where he’s staring blankly at the gathering red beneath his fingers.
“Yeah?”
“If we–if I don’t–”
“Shut up, Shiro,” Keith hisses. “Not an option, and you know it. We’ll get out of this. We’ve gotten out of worse.” Keith shifts, increasing the pressure of his hand slightly and Shiro groans, pained. Keith catches his eyes, they’re going glassy and his skin has gone all over ashen.
As he watches, Keith sees Shiro gathering himself, and when he blinks his gaze clears. “Keith.” Shiro’s tone brooks no argument, and Keith knows what he’s going to say before the words come out of his mouth.
“Nope,” Keith interrupts, “I don’t wanna hear it.”
“Delusion doesn’t suit you,” Shiro mutters, without heat.
“I’m not going to give up on you,” Keith says, “I won’t. Don’t ask me to. You can’t ask me for that.”
“I can’t ask you to sit here and watch me die either,” Shiro retorts, wincing as he tries to settle into a more comfortable position propped against the rock wall.
“I won’t leave you,” Keith says, reaching up with his other hand to touch Shiro’s face. “Look, I can call Red and she’ll be here in a jiff and we can get you patched up.”
Shiro shakes his head. “I’ll bleed out before you get me to the lion.”
“Christ, Shiro, a little optimism wouldn’t hurt.”
“Never did me any good, always preferred to be pragmatic.” Shiro’s voice trails off into a sigh and his eyes flutter shut. Keith’s stomach sinks. Grief washes through him, premature and all the more deadly with it. His eyes burn behind his own closed eyelids, and his throat clogs. Keith swallows, steels himself and opens his eyes.
“Hey,” he says, sharp, and Shiro’s eyes open. “Stay with me buddy, you gotta stay with me.”
“’m cold,” Shiro slurs.
“Okay,” Keith says, “okay. Lemme just–” Keith shifts, reaching for Shiro’s arm with his free hand and swapping his hand for Shiro’s own. His palm is sticky with drying blood, but Keith wipes it off on the leg of his armor. “Just, hold that there,” he tells Shiro, and Shiro nods. Keith arranges himself on Shiro’s other side, scrambling over the other paladin’s knees to curl close around his side. “You’re gonna be okay,” Keith murmurs, “it’s gonna be okay.”
---
Pidge finds them there the next day. She ignores the cacophony of noise over her comms as the castleship bridge sees what she’s seeing.
Shiro has gone still next to Keith, arm dropped from the bloody gash in his side. Keith’s face is buried in Shiro’s neck, and for a horrible, sickening moment, Pidge thinks they’ve lost them both, until she sees Keith’s back, rising and falling with gentle breaths.
